Rezero season 2 episode 4 is one of my favourite episodes of all time in media. It hit me so hard that I literally went to tell my parents that I loved them right after. As someone who was blessed with loving parents, I can't deny they've been countless times when I've cried thinking I wasn't doing enough to help them. Seeing Subaru's backstory also resonated with me, that feeling of wanting to be seen, to be the cool kid. "We didn't have you so you could do something for us, we had you because we wanted to do something for you." That line genuinely broke me, and I actually had to sit there for awhile after the episode ended to think. As someone who desperately tries to alleviate their parents burdens, knowing how much they sacrificed and work to help me and my family, that single line completely destroyed me. Knowing that Subaru never actually got to say any of that to his real parents, knowing that the last thing his mom saw of him was him ignoring her. I never want to put my parents through that. To this day, everytime I watch that episode, I always tear up.

I’m 20, here’s some context, a lot of the time it blows up because of tiktok comments, there’d be some guy trying to be cool in front of some girls and then the comments would be like “he doing all that to impress the huzz💀😭🙏🙏🙏🙏” My favorite one is a guy with a tux going up to girls and saying “Greetings huzz” I always giggle at that shit💀 (I’m cooked)

Im sorry but re Zero Is by far the best isekai that came out of Japan. I just turned 21 mabye that’s why I’m the target audience but Subarus story to learn to love yourself and to learn that being yourself with all yo ur faults and accepting that asking for help is okey in my opinion is one of the strongest messages anyone at any age could hear

I can only repeat the TT boys, even if the message is timeless, the show/product itself is not. This lesson has been told, and will be told countless times already, and it is truly just a stroke a luck which version one encounter first.

8:30 Come on, Joey, you know that's not true. There's like 2 or 3 episodes per season now touching on some pretty deep themes, the fact that you're at an age where those don't resonate with you anymore doesn't mean that there aren't life-changing stories being told out there.
