Cabin sensor was bad causing high temperature display on the digital tral....Dave was I supposed to use silicone on the gasket of evap box prior to putting lid back on? ? The newer Traulsens have that fan assembly that you have to replace when the evaporator motor goes bad, but that's the only thing I can say that I don't like about Traulsen. I actually got out and about today. An old B series water cooled unit locked out on high pressure safety. Water turned off to the building and a bunch of metal plates on the road. Ain't hard to figure out that one. I felt bummed that I couldn't help, but I showed him what to do when the water department finishes their job, and I returned to oblivion. Oh well, when this is done, I'm sure I'll have 12 hour days again.

imperial makes a Little black bender. does 1/4" -3/8 thats alot smaller tgan that one too. That ones a cool bender though. imperial Makes the best benders. the Little Black ones or this one , Either is a Smart move to Get. i Dont use 1/2" that much. so, the Smaller black bender works better for me.

@@throttlebottle5906 I guess the only way to stop the condensate loop from rotting is just to not have one.
@throttlebottle59064 жыл бұрын
getting rid of the loop and going to a electric heater helps a bunch, but it still builds up inside the insulation on the lines from evap. to compressor and those corrode away, as well as other key areas.

( Ftngot ) on Traulsens i Prefer to Eliminate the condensate Loop & use a Electric Heater in the drain pan. They Make one just for traulsens. its cheap & i stocknit on the truck. Eliminates it ever happening again , But Either way works just fine.
@primetime7584 жыл бұрын
you are not suppose to Eliminate the hot gas loop 1. it Helps Bring down the Highside 2. Electric ones Heat up the space like crazy
@OcRefrig4 жыл бұрын
@ prime --- Sorry man , But u are Wrong on that one. 1. You can order a New Traulsen with Electric or Hot gas Condensate evaporation. its Just a Price Thing. as is EVERYTHING. Electric Condensate Is a $100.00 add. it is also done to give the unit a Lower amp draw for energy standards. 2. Traulsen - Makes a Specific Heater Just for thier Pan. Here is the Part # www.partstown.com/traulsen/tr329-60001-00?gclid=EAIaIQobChMIwM2J2K_k6AIVFQnnCh37UwwBEAQYCyABEgKSDvD_BwE 3. it does not add any more heat to the room than a Hot gas Line Does. it is Thermostatically controlled. when it is Above a certain temperature it cuts itself off. it only works when necessary.i think they are only 300 watts too. you think 300 watts is going to make any difference in a hot kitchen.i dont think so. 4. ive been doing it for 40 years. Units Work just fine to Better & customers are Very Happy that they Never have to pay that Repair cost again. 5. it also increases the Reliability of the unit , no more condensate loop leaks EVER AGAIN !
