Let me know if there's any more TRAUMATIC videogame memories you have of your own and we can suffer together in the comments. ☠☠☠ Edit: As a silly correction, it seems the sims doesnt save to the disc ISO (i double checked online but it seems to not be the case i think?) and we may have mistaken a random premade sim family for a real save (our childhood sins are purged)

I can only recall one traumatic video game moment as a child that really got me… I was borrowing my brother’s DS and playing Nintendogs. While walking his nintendog, the doggo munched on some trash and looked very sick while a messed up version of the walking theme was playing. It was scary enough to think that the nintendog was poisoned and maybe dying (I didn’t know they were practically immortal), but when it’s my older brother’s nintendog?! That’s almost like accidentally killing your loved one’s pet! So I frantically turned off the DS without saving, and decided to avoid that game if I’m going to borrow my brother’s DS again. PS: I’m really excited that you mentioned Drawn to Life! That game really made a huge impact on my life!

omg, i would be just as horrified!! also, drawn to life's entire narrative inside its own world was amazing to me as a child, too. glad you got so much from it.
