Me again, in this video you talk about appreciating the simple things eg a hot shower. This reminds me of a book “The Book of Awesome, by Neil Pasricha” the book is full of examples of simple daily things that people usually overlook that are awesome. Eg the sound of snow crunching under your feet, or one of my favourites is seeing a big flock of birds all flying together. Putting on a free spectacular air show. If we all slowed down just a little bit to appreciate these things, what a wonderful world it would be. Now that songs in my head, lol. Have an awesome day Lulu.

I was just in the rest area to use the ladies room and I see a young lady with beautiful long banana curls, clearly she spent a lot of time on getting those curls to look awesome, and there she was at McDonalds waiting for her egg sausage mcmuffin biscuit and I thought to myself . . . she gives all that attention to the curls in her hair, and she's destroying her cell structure inside her amazing body and starving herself nutrients. but it's just what people do, it's an epidemic. it's everywhere, and I'm grateful that I've hopped off that crazy train!! glad you've hopped off too!!! I enjoy car camping at Skidaway Island State Park, a wee bit south of Savannah. They have several trails that I find relaxing. I enjoy a walk before or after a drive, building a fire, watching shadows dance through the Spanish moss dripping from the oaks. Many sites offer "palmetto scrub" walls which lends a coziness as well.

hi Kim!! sure I've thought of taking my sweet cat with me. she is a tuxedo cat and her name is India, she is 16yo. I think she would adapt and likely enjoy it. but I decided I want the freedom to come and go and not have to think about climate control for her comfort. my son loves her as much as I do so she's happy as can be with him, they adore each other and I'll just let them be and stay free myself!! I agree with you on the shower and how we often just take a shower and go. I grew up with an outhouse for a bathroom and coalstove for heat, we used the coal stove to heat our bathwater. Now, I stand in a hot shower and just give thanks and appreciation for hot running water...just "Thank you, Thank you, Thank you❤

hi Juli!! if that's the way you enjoy it, then enjoy it!! if you decide to transition away from adding things to coffee, try first just dropping one of the items (sugar or creamer). we all do it different, we all chose different. I would have never dreamed I would enoy a cup of black coffee, YUCK!!! but it's now YUM!!!!

I'm totally with you Lulu. Once you get used to eating "healthy", unprocessed food you crave it and don't want anything else. My hubby and I rarely go out to eat, as it we know it's not healthy, and quite frankly, doesn't taste good to us! We'd rather just eat our healthy organic meals at home! Never get tired of our delicious healthy organic breakfast smoothie made veggies, fruit, hemp hearts and almond milk , or our yummy organic daily salad for lunch, and our organic veggies and a small piece of organic meat for dinner!!! Yummmm. We are soooo blessed to have this healthy food available to us!!! Happy and safe travels to ya! 😄

hi Sue!! they are not purple potatoes, they are Japanese Sweet Potatoes, they will be a redish-brown on the outside and white inside. I hope you find they, they are delish!! but if all you can find is the orange regular sweet potatoes, those will be good too, with cut up pear and nuts/seeds.

Your breakfast sounds so yummy! Sometimes I get so tired of eggs. And I found Japanese sweet potatoes at the asian market. I bought one of Those and one purple sweet potato to try. I'm definitely gonna try half the way you had it for breakfast. This weekend I will try a 1 day overnight stay at a lake by my house. This will be my first taste of being alone without the hubs. hi Dawn!! I was watching others do it on youtube for way too long, it was time for me to pull the plug and do it myself. I just bought an old minivan for $1900 and built it out, it was amazing, and I love my new van. it's gets more fun the longer you do it because you work out all the kinks and get better at it!!

hi Mary!! my breakfast is typically cold sweet potato, pear and nuts/seeds. it's not dry at all. the sweet potato is moist, the pear is juicy. it doesn't need anything, it's perfect!! :)

I weigh all my meals! the food plan I followed when I was reducing my weight is in the description box of this video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/ZqfdpHx8gtKBZtU today, I eat just a little bit more than that food plan to maintain my weight. I don't snack. I drink one coffee a day, filtered berkey water throughout the day, very occasionally I'll have a seltzer water or a cuppa herbal tea, but water just feels like enough!!

I've enjoyed your videos so much! On April 1, I'll begin a three-week car trip (western MA to Fl) south. This will be my first attempt at car camping in my Subaru Outback, not every night, but when the circumstances lend themselves to safety. I'm a bit apprehensive, but I've watched dozens of videos on car camping and van life, so I have created a reasonably equipped car. Your enthusiasm for going with the flow and feeling freedom matches mine.

hi Susan! I get the high quality more expensive napkins, extra absorbant. I tried the cheapies but I need to use 2 or 3 of them to get the same usage as 1 of the better ones. I really need a lot of them because I clean dishes and clean things a lot. so I want good ones, so I splurge, but really I think it's more economical to use the better ones.

hi Laura!! I haven't needed to use deodorant for the last decade. I imagine it's because of the way I eat clean and take very food care of myself. or maybe old people stop getting B.O.? lol . . . I don't know. I just know that I never smell a hint of B.O. on me, without deodorant!! Lulu

hi Morgan!! lotsa bugs in FL. before dark they are not bad, but after dark, ya gotta get inside! I have a little bug zapper inside that attracts little skeeters, any that might have gotten inside. before the zapper, I would have one little bug buzzing in my ear all night and ruining my sleep, this seems to have taken care of the problem! Lulu

hi Pia!! I do get some condensation, like on the ceiling right over my head when I wake up, I can see beads of condensation, I just wipe it with a paper towel. the windshield is always drippy, then it dries. so far, it's not a big problem, as all my walls are bare. I will consider all of this as I work on my next build! Lulu

typically I enjoy Braggs organic olive oil. if I can't find that brand, I just like it to be organic and never from Italy. google "what is bad about olive oil from Italy?" I decided to not buy olive oil from Italy.
