I'm considering a trip to Italy but those restaurant prices are giving me a panic attack. I live in L.A so I'm not unused to 20usd dollar drinks but 15Euro for a bottle of beer! 35 Euro for a pasta course! You guys should go to Romania you could get a whole 7 course meal for the cost of a single dish in Italy...

The prices in Venice are quite high, and we also did go to some higher end restaurants! We found the prices in Rome were lower than Venice which was a relief lol. We'll have to check out Romania some time. Thanks for watching :)

Hi Kraig! We made our reservation for lunch, about 2 weeks in advance. We usually try and reserve a table for an early lunch at restaurants, so that we can get our choice of table. Thanks for watching, and we hope you enjoy your time in Venice :)

As we’re surrounded by cold rain and snow here in Rhode Island, we’re living vicariously through you guys! GORGEOUS!! The canals are breathtaking, and as usual, I love all the food😂 I do need to file a formal grievance with the country of Canada - as Mike stated, you can’t get your burgers cooked to your preference😮 COME ON!!

Sorry to hear about the now and cold rain you're having! Venice is so beautiful, we're so happy we were able to spend a week there. In Canada, all burgers must be cooked well done...I think it goes back to when there were outbreaks of the so called "hamburger disease", which was E. coli in ground beef. So it was different for us to be asked how we wanted the burger cooked lol. Cheers :)

Venice is a treasure. When next you are there, please get up at 5am and go to St Mark's Square. You will have it to yourselves. An experience that is special. Works for the Rialto Bridge,as well. It's safe and quiet and so beautiful. Great video and the Doge;s Palace is worth the visit.
