Thanks for the informative content! I clicked on this to get an idea of grocery prices on Kaua'i. I'll be visiting in an official capacity this summer with a group of JHS students from Japan. We'll be responsible for most of our own meals, so I'm trying to get an idea of what's best for ten hungry kids visiting for two weeks... I really appreciate that you gave average prices for all your expenses!

We travel on points, Hawaiian airline credit card, 80,000 points after spending $4000.00 in 180 days. We had that met in months Two round trip tricks were 70k points. Use points on our wyndhams for car rental, $60.00 charge to do that. Used our points for 1 bedroom presidential Suite in Bali hai Princeville. This trip we are splurging on horse back ride on the beach and surf lessons. Also we are staying 10 days. We bring alot of our food too. Freeze lots of the stuff and then eat out a few nights. It keeps our food budget down. Other than eggs, milk fresh veggies and fruit, we bring everything else. I want to say we spend maybe $400 for our trip. Traveling is what we do, I have learned what to cut back on expenses and have money to splurge on fun stuff. This is our 3rd trip in 3 years. Watching you tube videos have been a great resource. Congrats on making the hike. Some parts of those trails look scary. PS We are 65 and not holding back!!!

If you do the kayak or paddle board do you stay in the river or do you have to end up in the ocean eventually? Dont really want to end up in the ocean with kids since I have never done it.
@WanderJessica2 жыл бұрын
One direction takes you up river and the other will take you to the ocean. We opted to go up river
