Just returned from the Intercontinental. E-gate was a breeze, Lounge at Departures was awesome for only $39.00. Quick and easy interview to complete Global Entry while changing planes in Atlanta. Thanks for sharing your experiences

We just returned from the Riveria Maya area a few days ago. We have had great success with Travicons as our transport each time we come to Mexico.

If the e-gates are down, ask if you can try them. This is what happened to us, and they worked, and we were able to bypass the regular lines.

Prebooked Nacho Tours from your recommendation and they were beyond amazing! We were their last trip of the day and Nacho Jr. asked if he could join us and driver Jerry for his ride home. I had booked our accommodations online and had the confirmation email ready to show at the gate of the residence. However, I did not have the information the security staff needed, they wouldn't let us in and Nacho Jr and Jerry spent the next hour with us, phoning to the United States, trying to connect to WiFi and finding us an alternate place to spend the night. Other drivers would have dropped you at the gate and gone to their next fare, not NachoTours! 5+ stars from us!!

You can take an Uber, didi from the hotel zone to the airport, they can drop you off at the airport, but they can't pick you up

I was just in Terminal 4 on Thursday for a flight to Canada, and the Visatax booth was there, just before you take the escalator up to security screening.

got back from Cancun on Jan 12. One person in our group, for some reason didn't have his passport stamped, and did not have the little paper that was given to him either.....and it was a ruckus trying to check back in to board to return back to the U.S. I am not sure how it all got resolved, but it finally did. His wife had her passport stamped going there but for some reason they did not stamp his.

Hi! We arrived last Monday afternoon thru terminL 4 from Regina Saskatchewan. We ioted to use the e-gates but I will be useful to your viewers to know that they would not scan the newer Canadian passports. Thankfully, they had an agent right there so we didn't have to endure the agony of going back out and thru the regular line.

This video was great! Just what I needed. I was wondering how the shuttle between terminals works. Just to make sure I got it right, after you land, when you go to meet someone at another terminal, you need to wait for them outside, right? You can't go in? By the way, I am so happy I booked Nacho Tours as our transportation for our upcoming trip!

Ty so much!! I’m going to do another video just about the shuttle but you take the shuttle over to the next terminal. Then you show your boarding pass and they will let you inside and then you walk and find Nacho transportation (if you agreed to meet in the terminal where the other party is arriving) and you wait outside with them

Yes. Saturdays and anytime after noon really. It’s hard to predict it depends on flight schedules and staffing

I have noticed that IF you bring in vape, it’s best to keep it in your pocket. Not your luggage. Of course, do at your own risk. I seen them making other people throwing theirs away. Also heard that some people had to pay a bribe to keep theirs. Which I would never advise, as it encourages the officials taking it to do that sort of thing 😅 I brought nicotine gum and patches with me just in case they made me throw my vape away and they didn’t even bat an eye at those things. They do sell vapes in a lot of places, I seen them in vending machines in La Isla. However, I smoke tobacco flavor and they don’t offer that, but it’s probably the better thing to do if you don’t want to risk bringing one in. Embarrassed to admit that I brought it with me, but may help someone else out.

Please comment on the acceptability of the guys that meet at departure as you get out of your taxi and they want help with your bags. Are these guys ok? They don't seem wear uniforms or be airport employees???

The whole Visitax implementation has been a joke. I have been to Cancun several times since they started this and the majority of people I asked at my resort (the other vacationers) have no idea what it is or what I'm referring to. I just don't understand how they could be so unorganized if this was something important to them. You also have to wonder how their record keeping is if they try to determine if someone paid from a previous visit. I do not trust any bit of this system.

If you come through terminal 4 they will open your suitcases and pull everything out. I was lucky for a few trips but it seems like they grab us every time now. They will make you lift your heavy suitcase up on a high table even if you are tiny or old. Very rude employees and l dread going through there. If you ask a hundred questions about the vista tax you will get a hundred answers, good luck with that one 🧐

@@isthatlonzo you will skip the long wait at the luggage carousel but still have to walk though the “grab em” hall so no safe zone in terminal 4. I go to Cancun 4 times a year and been going since the first tiny airport was there so any questions I’m glad to help.

Sorry this airport is a total joke. We were here in November and it was overcrowded and bathrooms were disgusting. Customs was 90 minutes and baggage was over an hour. When you leave to go outside they almost assault you for time shares. The employees and vendors are nasty and mean. The cost for food and drinks are out of control. Try somewhere else.
