GREAT ESSENTIALS VIDEO! Every body is wise to view this!! Thanking you so very very very much. My tip...lots and lots of extra zip loc bags from the BIGGEST to the smallest....covers wet to dry, thickest to tiniest, puffiest bulkiness to delicate tiny flatness ...that is protected and dry and snag free. Also l have found flat bags or pouches without locks or bothersome closures that are clear...not as heavy as your packing cubes and still breathable...yet all clear see thru. Thank you Stella!! Love the gear ties and going to get some. I will also use these around the house for multiple things. Wow. Just wow.

TIP FOR SHORT PEOPLE……I ALWAYS travel with a hard makeup case (like the one your Granny used to have). They fit under the seat and become an exceptional footrest during your flight. I keep my travel stuff in it year-round (eye mask, lip balm, socks/hotel slippers, Afrin, passport, travel toothbrush/paste, touch up makeup, etc.). That, and a purse, backpack, or weekender bag is all I need for any flight, including long-hauls!
@sallyshort72553 жыл бұрын
I have an inflatable neck pillow from LL Bean that I love. It’s great because it’s compact when deflated and fits into a small pocket in my backpack. When inflated, it’s bigger on the sides and can give better support than many cushion pillows I’ve seen. It has its own carrying case for protection when not in use. The downside is since air expands in flight, you have to watch that it doesn’t get too firm and could pop. Nod off for a bit, and when waking up a bit, reach up and check the firmness. Mine has a mini touch valve thing that will release a small amount of air without deflating the whole thing. I think it was around $40 which is more than average neck pillows, but the compact portability and better support, fewer neck aches, can really make the price worth it.

We've long carried a 12 foot long length of parachute cord and cloths pins. We travel to Europe frequently, staying at least two weeks. We cut down on packing by hand washing items, then hanging them to dry overnight. Inflatable hangers (Amazon or eBay) allow items to dry even faster. Packable duffle bag! Especially for vacation trips where you KNOW a lot of souvenirs will be purchased: The one I have crumples to about the size of a baseball. When opened up, it EXACTLY fits the dimensions of the airlines' "personal item" dimension limits!!! (most airlines allow a free personal item in addition to a carry-on) This is the perfect way to get extra stuff home without paying for more bags or overweight fees! I *think* I got it on Amazon. The bag is by Tortuga. It says "On Your Terms" on the label.
