Hi Mr Watson, I wanted to thank you for your wonderful videos, they are a pleasure to watch. I have been ill for a long time (5yrs) and still have another year to go (don't worry nothing life threatening). And your videos have been such a joy to watch when I have been to weak to move but mentally am incredibly bored! Thank you again for showing me the wonderful places I hope to go one day I can see you have a fantastic time. On your travels has there been anywhere where you have sat and watched a view you thought you could never get bored of?
@rosalynosborne29688 жыл бұрын
+Karl Watson: Travel Documentaries Hi Karl. Cool thank you those are really good choices. I'm really sorry I thought of another question, do you have a favourite place for just enjoying being away from home and and not required to do anything in particular? For example my favourite place is Venice for the architecture and food.

Saw your HK2NY for the first time last year and it inspired my wife and I to explore the world. We just got back from Thailand in July and now we've booked a trip to Australia next year where we are gonna drive all the way up the coast from Melbourne to Byron. We want to do more of Asia too, but we are also intrigued by Angel Falls, San Blaas and all that in South America. What would you recommend first?

Hey buddy, just found your videos through an Australia search, they are refreshingly relevant. I'm going there soon on a Working Holiday visa and wondered which dangers are most common for backpackers ie. pickpockets at the beach, drink spiking, spiders in your sleeping bag... any help would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks for the nice words about Canada ;) PS Perhaps do an entire video on Staying Safe Abroad?? Cheers

Thanks, Karl. On BBC News, an article spoke of drink spiking going on in Bali and wondered if that was at all prevalent in Oz itself. Looking forward to more videos and happy travels!

About booking accommodation: Do you book your accommodation in advance or you just show up there and look for a place to sleep? Booking in advance will save me time looking for a place to sleep, but when plan changes or due to transport failures you can make it on time, then you are in trouble right? (You can answer it in general. I'm planning going to India next year, so if you can share your experience would be great!) Thanks and cheers!

hi ye how are ye going? if ye come to Japan, where would ye like to visit in Japan? It really depends on when ye come to Japan and what ye want to do here well I was born and raised in the Kansai region. for instance: if ye like fireworks, ye will have to be here from late July to the middle of August. Tenjin festival is held in Osaka city on the 24/25th of July every year but fireworks display is held on only on the 25th of July. if ye like Autumn leaves here in the Kansai region, ye will have to be here from late November to Early December. I haven't been to NZ for 10 years so I would like to go back to see some Kiwi mates even if I have got some Kiwi mates in Japan :)
