We've had multiple RV's over 35 years, and just purchased a Rockwood 8263mbr. Its mostly just the two of us, and as we get older, less stairs are a plus. Thanks for your video.

Good deal, I've been looking forward to this video. Thanks for sharing your thoughts. I get the slide concerns. I cross my fingers every time we move the slides. But I think I cause my own worries by reading the FB slide problems on the Alliance page. We have not had any issues so far. 🤞🤞 I had forgotten that the 310 was your first rig. Incredible leap for a first rig. Oooohhhh, whatcha cooking? Another new rig? Enjoy that Florida Sun!! Snowing here. Rock on RoadSmiths!!
@TheRoadSMITHS8 күн бұрын
Thanks guys....both rigs have served their purpose and yes the 310 was a big leap but we knew when we were selling out house we needed comfort but as nimble as a 35 foot 5ver can be. We learned to like the simpleness of the Lance too...just would need more space if we had just one rig. Merry Christmas!!

Great video guys! You had me thinkin pretty darn hard...lol. So right now we are renovating the Pete. 30 amp service, cook top, cupboards, work station, etc. With the deck on the back we should be able to load smart car, quad & kayaks. It would be micro living, (70 inches deep x 98 inches wide) but we could drop what ever trailer somewhere and for limited time have a " motorhome " per say. Its 33 ft long but that would fit state parks or those much smaller sites....(I was gonna follow your lead) but im pretty sure 1 Rig will do the trick. Merry Christmas & Happy New year...May the good Lord let our paths cross. We'll be watching in 2025 😊😊

Great video and thanks for sharing your experience and knowledge with us all. We just did almost the same thing,we had a 5th wheel and now a bumper pull we only went down 1foot we dropped a lot of weight and height. I do miss the storage but did find we had more the we needed. Thanks From Wisconsin and Marry Christmas and a happy new year

Some good information and perspective here! Thanks for sharing. Debi and I talked about having a smaller rig for our Alaska adventure in a couple of years but we decided that our 310 would make the trip fine if we just take our time and be moderately prepared. We also are not full-timing though so if it breaks we have sticks and brick to return to ... at least for now. Take care and enjoy the Holidays! 😀

Thanks....yes I am sure many people take their 5vers up there..we have seen several other channels do that. The Hanks, Wild RV LIfe, Open Roading. etc. the group we were supposed to go with wanted to go Small...so we all did. Now we have 2 RVs haha...not great financial advice. :-)

Hey guys this was good comparison if we were to get something smaller a Lance is a great product. I laughed when you have us the original tour at the mirror in the bathroom height. For such a small trailer the storage was really good. Ooh intriguing on what you have in mind cant wait to see where this goes! Merry Christmas!! 😊

@@justramblinaround yes. The storage is good in the 2075. When we sold our small RPod we were astounded. If I were a “full timer” it might not be enough for us.

I agree more length would be nice. We’ve been using our 2075 for 2 years and I’m finding a few feet more would be great. We rarely use our shower because by the time you get the water temp right the hot water was gone. I know we couldn’t live in it full time. Max time in it has been 5 weeks.
@TheRoadSMITHS8 күн бұрын
Agreed....we thought if they just added say 2 feet....the kitchen counter counter would be larger and more usable, they could put the shelf thats on the side of the dinette in the back window..make the dinette bigger and easier to get in and out of. We have made the Truma combi work....but yes Navy showers for sure.Thanks for watching and commenting

Just sold our 40’ New Horizons Majestic and 450 dually. Have on order a 25B25RT Bigfoot fiberglass travel trailer and a F350 gas . Looking forward to no slides and smaller easier maneuverable trailer . We will miss some of the space and amenities of the 5thwheel. You should check out Bigfoot trailers .

Hi Ken and Pam! Sorry glad you out a video! I missed you last week. So glad you dud this video on comparing the 2 Rvs. I wanted to know the difference. It’s cute the Lance. I’m sure that with it being small you snuggled close! 😂😂 just kidding. I love those facts it have a kitchen. Very nice for as small as it was. Glad you are going to get another one and keep the Alliance. I love the Alliance. Great video! And I hope you have a Merry Christmas and Happy New Tear with your family! 🎄🎁🎅🤶🎆🎊See you in 2025.
