Thanks Katrina.....yes...thank goodness. Between that, being rear ended in Florida and now side swiped in Colorado....Travelers Insurance has been awesome.

What a shocker that you had a bad experience at a campground in NJ. 🤣🤣 Thanks for having us join you guys for this month's collaboration. Hope to see you in Tampa!

Haha..I know we spoke of this campground before....not great mostly due to the ownership. Looks like we will be west for this winter. Thanks for joining the collab!!

Lol...I can relate to google maps issues. We did a motorcycle trip couple years back and we were in the back country of West Viginia... And we found a road with switch backs that were so tight it was a challenge to keep the bike up cause we had to go so slow and we were going up the side of a mountain...almost stalled....I put alot of faith in our Rand McNally laminated truckers atlas now. Thanks for the tips. 😊

Old School does not fail! Haha. We are usually better at that but with the "little one" we dont have to be quite so judicious.

Google is on my black list forever. It got me lost in Denver Colorado for nearly an hour on a cloudy day that I was unable to see the mountains or the sun. I called a friend and told him where I was and he gave me directions to where I wanted to go. Google was taking me east when I wanted to go west and on the way out of town, with pouring rain, asked for I-25 and it was taking me through residential parts of the greater metropolitan area. I shut google off and called the friend again. I don't trust any of the map apps much because of that and keep a paper map or map book handy. My favorite maps are the books that show the topographical view of states with dirt roads, etc. Thanks for some really good info.

I do think we have come to rely too much on these apps. They are great most times but can lead you astray at times. Thanks for watching and commenting.

Bought a very nice used eight-year-old travel trailer stored in my downhill driveway with all the stabilizers down and concrete blocks under the front, first winter both tires on the left side, went flat and bent my stabilizer arm

Oh wow! I’m not sure I’ve heard about your battery experience? These lessons can get super expensive (as we’ve learned). So thankful for insurance! ~Pam

Hi Ken and Pam! Sorry about the problem with a campground in NJ and I remember your batteries issue. And the road you took in Taos I remember that video. Glad everything is ok so far! Great collaborations.

Thanks Sherri! Ugh! Yes, these things happen, but it’s so frustrating! Oh yes, that road was crazy!! Hope you are well! We always love hearing from you!!

Thanks for your transparency. We definitely have all made mistakes! Glad you moved inside, much easier to hear you both! We had that same thing happen with the battery (the smell) fortunately ours didn't explode. We do not use google maps. Ever. We were still there, all the way to the end. Great tips you guys! - Jim & Michelle

When we pull our 5ver we certainly do, for the most part. Haha with the little we have been a little less judicious on picking those routes. Thanks for watching and commenting.
