Our "little one" started at the ripe old age of 9 months old, and almost 16 years later, she's been to Canada, Mexico, all over the Caribbean, Dominican Republic, England, Ireland, Scotland, France, Italy, The Netherlands, Austria, Czech Republic, Hungary, Spain, and Greece. Oh, I don't know about that. Anyone watch Trent and Allie? And the ... eh, I can't remember the channel name; it's a couple and their baby traveling in an Airstream. Since Baby came along, their videos have been largely about the changes in traveling style, necessitated by having a Little. I'm happy for the Beans that they are creating the family they want, but have clicked off the notification button while still being subscribed. I won't anticipate their videos but will still check in periodically. For some of us, adding a child to travel changes the attention level.

I literally have tears of joy for you both! I kind of had a hunch you were pregnant. You two are some of the sweetest, fun, and loving couple on KZbin. I feel like I've been on this journey as you travel. When I was having a bad day etc, your videos always cheered me up! I'm a single mom of 3 kids and we've spent whole summers in a camper. You will be amazed at how fast you will adapt to traveling with a baby. These past two months have been very tough for us. My wife's father passed (95 yo) the day before Thanksgiving and we've had 3 car accidents where vehicles were totaled but no lives were lost. The announcement that there's going to be a new bean soon brought tears of joy...and a sense of hope.

Emma is always radiant, pregnant or not. She has always been a source of sunshine. I believe it is her upbringing in the USA that has given her such a sparkly attitude towards life. Even when the first American van went up in flames... a Brit would have said, " That was interesting" . I felt her despair, fear and confusion. The "Stiff Upper Lip" English attitude is real. Trust me, anything other than a week in a van with a very young one - under 2 would be excruciating. As much as you'll love him to bits, you'll need time away every day. Also, get yourselves an unltrasound monitor - about 30 or 40 quid on eBay. You can listen to the heart to ... well your hearts content then. As first timers you will often have moments of terror when there has been no kicking for a little while. Heartbeat sound is a great re-assurance. Lots of vomit and yucky mess to come but all in all it's a blast. Carry on remembering you both need time together too when the time comes. Let this little one strengthen your family not divide it.
