These storms help in making the islands pristine. Unlike in other Asian countries, houses can easily be built in small island cliffs along the sea waters. Do that in Philippines islands, these edge houses would be blown away by the powerful storms.

Nice seeing you still enjoyed your stay despite the weather. We were there in port barton last summer and we found out while walking around on our last day there that there is a waterfall nearby, at least 1 hour trekking from the beach. We’ll definite go there on our next visit. Just ask the locals for directions.

Pissing on jellyfish stings is something of an urban legend. Vinegar is what's actually recommended.

wayne Agustino urine may actually aggravate the pain.
@lieutenantkettch7 жыл бұрын
wayne Agustino Actually urine has a pH of 6.0 while vinegar has a pH of 2.4. Vinegar is much more acidic and is more sterile than urine.
@TravelBeans7 жыл бұрын
haha we love that we have started a discussion about peeing on here! Good to know that vinegar is probably the most hygienic way to go.. although if you cant find any vinegar I suppose there really is only one option.... 😂

Travel Beans calamansi fruit is better than vinegar. Its a citrus fruit common in the Phils. Almost every restaurant in the phils has one. And if youre on a vacation, specially beach vacation, theres a high possibility that a filipino family has one. Combined with soy sauce, its an all time filipino favorite dip/sauce
