Your cave should have a cold sump as you come into it which is about 12-18” lower than the level you sleep/sit on. This keeps the coldest air down and away from you and should make a fair difference to the temperature of the sleeping area. You should also build a small wall at the top of the entrance to help stop the cold air pouring down the stairs in to the cave.

I really enjoyed this cave. I thought you'd hang a tarp or something for a door but you left it open. You both work good together and team work makes better results. Keep up the vlogs, winter is so much more of a challenge and cave 2.0 should be great.

I think she wanted to be more cared for without having to ask and for him to see beyond the surface but he just didn’t care enough too. And that’s alright he got someone he is able to care for. Rosa is beautiful and will get someone better for her as Well. Just have to be Thankfull for the times we are Blessed with hope and do better. Wish both the best and thankful for sharing there life.

From the beginning, Rosa speaks over him and compete with him. She wants to shin, which is OK. We ladies all like to shine. She gave it a try. I appreciate that, but I never expected she could hang long term. She always talked with slight sarcastic tone. A lady does not try to compete with her man. Our men love to be appreciated. She is exhausted and tired of the snow. He built her a beautiful, incredible "cave palace" and she shamed it. He wanted her to love the palace he built. She was thinking that's the best you can do. Just wait til he gets his hands on a hammer, nails and some timber logs. He will build the RIGHT lady a log castle. He will find a better fit. I never cared for her attitude. She had expectations. He is having a blast. Don't worry sweetie. The right lady will come along at the right time. Enjoy you self. You are beautiful.

It seems as though her negative responses stem from her feeling neglected and unsupported in their relationship. It's like she hates building snow caves, sleeping in them, and freezing all night, but she does it because she cares for him. From watching the video, it's like she feels like a slave or something. He doesn't help her with things like cooking, setting up camp, packing and unpacking, and it bothers her.

would love to watch more but the low frequency spikes are causing my speakers havoc and if I set the volume to a safe level, I can't hear the voices. Its likely from wind on a damped mic or the mic is sensitive to frequencies at or under 50Hz.

Never have the entrance facing the steps down. Build a u shape of steps so the wind doesn’t blow straight into your sleeping area. Have a cold zone outside the sleeping area. 12 inches lower than where you sleep. This keeps the coldest air out of your sleeping area. Lastly you can put boiled water into a bottle and store it in your sleeping bag for extra warmth around your feet.
