I totally agree, its nice that you could enjoy this hotel with your wife ! Myself, for the hotel I am thorn: the castle looks impressive, the food looks great and apparently the baths are amazing. The rest of the hotel looks too "grand and posh" for me, especially the lobby. I would feel very uncomfortable there. Also, for the room I would prefer either a totally modern room, or a totally japanese room. But luckily, tastes are different ;-).
