I like a lot when people talk about the Algarve as a coastline in Southern Portugal... The Algarve is a region with lots of history, landscapes (mountains, plains, coast...) and with a good climate year-around. For example, Aljezur is also Algarve, and Alcoutim too. A part of my family is from Eastern Algarve (Sotavento) and I know very well the region, from the bottom to the top.

I believe that beautiful sink is petrified wood, a decorative type of fossil wood where the original organic material has been replaced over time by quartz or some other mineral.
