One thing I love about your videos is your personality hasn't seemed to change. Often when people start really gaining traction on KZbin it changes the whole channel and stops being real. Love that your channel is not turning into that and is just like a normal guy traveling and showing everyone around.

We camped at Tallulah Gorge and loved every minute we spent there, but omg, going back up those steps was a challenge! LoL!! I loved how the campground had it's own trail entrance to the overlooks, interpretative center, etc. The campground was a nice size. While we were there it rained one night so much, most of the tent campers left, we were so happy to be in our little camper. I believe ours is the same size as yours, 17 feet. Thank you so much for your videos, we enjoy watching them every Sunday.

I visited Tallulah Gorge in May. The visitor center was closed (probably still is), because of Covid-19. Made the hike all the way down to Hurricane Falls. Very impressive!! The trails were open, and hardly a soul around, but there was certainly a lot of garbage overflowing from the bins. Another great video, Robert!! The saga continues!!

Hello Traveling Robert😊! The ride along Skyline Dr and Blue Ridge Parkway was spectacular. I was really hoping that you rejoined the Blue Ridge Parkway at Fancy Gap. Having driven all of the North Carolina section before I could tell you that the NC section is much more scenic with many attractions such as Blue Ridge Music Center, Blowing Rock, The swinging suspension Bridge at Grandfather Mountain, Crabtree Falls, Linville Gorge, and the highest Mountain peak east of the Mississippi, MT Mitchell State Park! You should consider taking that route on your next road trip, it's absolutely SPECTACULAR! Great video Robert!

And I recognize that cemetery. You turned right out of the campground. That road goes down to a beautiful lake’s boat ramp, but you will need 4x4 to get back up, or a buddy in a 4x4 to assist your assent up the dirt road. I did the latter. Just south there is another lake that 2WDs can access as well as a campground on the lake. Couple of dicey spots with drop offs.

Catching up again, so finally watched this and as you know Robert, Barb and I by accident and not knowing or having forgot you had been to Tullulah stopped there too on our way home the last week of March. We parked at the Walmart just North of it and since we did not want to ride our bikes back to Walmart, we had to hurry to get to the car before they locked the drive to the welcome center. Should have had water and our lack of being in shape, we thought we would die getting back to the top. We did walk past the inspiration point the next day when we returned to see the few spots we did not get to see, but due to the slow shutdown, the welcome center was already closed. Tullulah is along US441/US23, the former we got on in FL and ran all the way through GA. US 23 actually goes by our home in Ohio, only 3 miles away. We have lost the video we took when we did drive down the stone road and it has many other stone roads and homes back in the deep woods. The main road does go back on a paved hwy on North of the gorge and there are places that the streams run across that road, it was a fun road to drive, even with the banjo music from the movie Deliverance being heard as we snaked around the woods, lol. Of course this is also not far from Helen, GA which has a beautiful state park outside of town, away from the tourist trap part. We could see why you love that part of GA so much.

Ah the Gorge was our go to place every fall. My parents move to Clarksville when they retired and it was a great destination and base camp for the area. In case you get a day there, they allow 100 people a day to go down into the gorge floor and I highly recommend getting the pass (free) and hiking down the river. Plan to cross the river at the bottom and go up the other side. Dress for wet and pack a lunch. You knocked out a lot of hiking and you are correct, those stairs will wear you out.

Been watching you for about 2 years. And what I've noticed about this trip. Is how less active you have become a the this trip progressed. This i think had to do with your tiredness you spoke of in this video. Haven't seen your bike, and I've seen you pass up trails that you would have taken earlier in the trip. Try to stay focused on you health while putting in soooooo many miles. Just a thought sir. Continue your safe travels

The last part of his trip also became very fast paced, deadlines to meet and then being homesick too, the last part had been the longest away from his lovely wife and that wore on him too. I know he was so much happier and energized once he had his wife back with him.
