I know some people like thinner straps, but that only works for me if its not loaded too heavy. If possible I like any sling strap to be at least 1.25 or more.

All depends how you look at it ,have a bellroy lite mini sling wish it had any type of pocket at back of sling

Thanks for the into to this sling. My go-to in-flight sling (if you can call it that) has been the Alpaka Tech Case Mini. The 2" depth is as thick as I'd want to wear. Otherwise, it just gets in the way, e.g. when you're having your in-flight meal. I really like the front pocket since like the Flight Sling, it has a good amount of depth to it and can hold my quick access essentials like hand lotion, lip balm, eye drops, and hand sanitizer. I don't use the zippered divider pocket in the Tech Case Mini so utility wise, it could function the same as the Flight Sling. I'm kind of hesitant to try yet another sling but I do like that there's a buckle on the Flight Sling. It may also be lighter but I can't find the weight on the Tech Case Mini to compare the two. Alpaka has just been pumping out products left and right!

Wish alpaka made a tech sling ultra that is 5-6 liters and slightly larger in all dimensions. I love that sling but it's too small for what I carry.

I find ALPAKAs stuff to often be too “slim”. Need more volume!

The problem with these sling bags when traveling is that they make you a target for thieves. I think you're better off with a neck wallet tucked under a shirt and keep the heavier stuff in a backpack which is less of a target and harder to steal from.
