Really enjoyed this one - looked like lots of fun even though the water was cold. And the push into the pool after the countdown had us both chuckling!

Good on you for the walk /swim through the gorges . Back in 1985 Karijini was known as The Hamersley Ranges with no infrastructure or roads . We took a caravan with friends in a camper trailer and camped at what is Oxer Lookout . No lookouts , rails , fences , signs etc . We were camped a few metres from the edge as we came in at night time . Continue to enjoy our fabulous state .

@@nowornever_aus Yes it was and we walked Weano , Handcock , Joffre and Red the 4 gorges that come together at Oxer Lookout with 4 and 8 year old daughters . By the way did you visit the iconic Mermaid Hotel in Dampier …… the fish and chips sitting on the deck overlooking the water are just the best .
