With these videos, one is able to know what happens in another country without going there. Thanks for singing our famous welcome song for tourists in Swahili. Both English and Swahili are the official languages of some East African countries (Kenya included). It is also an official language of the African Union. I am happy that your country (South Africa) has adopted it. Enjoy your stay and also move around our countries so that you understand how East Africa works. Our accent, our food, etc are similar. @@Panashe_mau Thanks. Now that you have said that you are a Zimbabwean it makes things even better. We have a Zimbabwean tribe called the Shona. They are Kenyans and have Kenyan identity cards and passports. These are immigrants from Zimbabwe who arrived here several years ago and they communicate in fluent swahilli. Our laws recognize tribes because our constitution requires that we have inclusivity. Your current president was here and appreciated that fact. Even the Indians you see here have a tribe number. You can visit the shona village in Nyeri, before you leave. Check the Shona Kenyans on Google. The Indians arrived 60 years before the Shona. I don't know whether they are tribe number 44 or 45.

When Kenya Airways was established, IATA code KA had already been assigned to Korean Airlines. As such Kenya Airways was assigned IATA code KQ. The same applies to Nairobi not being coded NRB but NBO.
