Thanks for your compliment. The original ceramic decorations on pagodas were made from fragments of broken chinaware, exquisitely carved into shapes. Sadly they ere falling off after decades under the sun and rain and they are being replaced with factory made pieces probably because people nowadays are not as patient as the ancients. The stairways to the third and fourth level are too steep and narrow so they were closed to public and also to help preserving those original ceramic decorations.
