Hey, big fan here. All of the different kinds of videos are entertaining. I'm sure I'm not the first to say this, and maybe I'm totally wrong and respect that. But it would be so cool to see you review food in Wisconsin, LA (I'm in LA), or anywhere else Ruby and Mr. Ruby go on vacation. I love that your reviews are honest, fair, and as you mention in this video - never petty. You never seem to want to drag a restaurant just because you can, which is cool. Also, I love that Mr. Ruby is a character in these videos, despite being unseen. Sort of like the neighbor in Home Improvement. Anyway, have a wonderful day and hope you guys stay cool in Vegas. We went Labor day weekend for brunch and the food was amazing. They had cold King Crab Legs and the hot snow crab was some of the best crab legs we had ever had. The omeletes and carved meat were also very good and liked the variety. Later that weekend we also went to Wynn for brunch and we both liked Wicked Spoon better.

I saw those comments about Wicked Spoon from the other video so was super curious how it would go if you went back. Dude, sounds like WS is still mostly knocking it out of the park. Brisket is my fave but I genuinely love a good Tofu dish. Hearing how good those were made me so hungry 😂 Those desserts.. Amazing, good work by all the Buffet Employees. Ruby’s real and deep knowledge of food and prep always takes these to another level. Her mentioning wanting to make Pad Thai makes me think there is another opportunity for creative content to make if she so chooses.

I'm a guy in excellent health and in great shape! I'm 5'10" and weigh 174 pounds. I really wish I could eat as much as you guys because the older I get (I'm 70), the less I can eat. Just watching this video, I wanted to taste everything shown because it not only looked delicious, your critique of everything made the food even more desirable! Thank you! For dispelling the rumors, for always giving SUCH great food reviews, keeping it real, and delving deep (even if "rushed") as to precisely what is making or breaking each offering. Sounds like it's still a great option (one of the few buffets I've yet to try) and, since I'll be at the Cosmo in just two weeks, I may just have to try it - despite the price increase. Frankly it looks better than Bacchanal. Texture is important. I'm with you on that. P.S. - I discovered your restaurant and hotel reviews well before finding your slot channel. :)

I have watched a lot of food type shows over the years and UI have to say. You are right up there with the top reviewers on things like Master Chef and Iron Chef. I think you would do great as a judge on Iron Chef.

I went in July after watching one of your reviews and staying at the Cosmo and the only thing that caught my eye was the price jump. It was a great experience. For someone who doesn't eat a lot like myself, the quality and variety has to be there to justify the price. I really enjoyed everything I ate there even though the price stung a bit.

Leaving Vegas tomorrow! I ate at wicked spoon yesterday and today! It was great! With the prices of everything else on the strip, I consider this a good deal at $47 plus tax! Still these prices are not like yesteryear, but elsewhere, a gelato and coffee would be $22!

Wife and I went to WS three times in December and twice in June, food is always fantastic, service is great and the buffet was very clean. WS desserts never disappoint!

Ate there in June. If you are Celiac or just eating GF, this is the spot. Everything is labeled if GF or not. And if you ask, chef will come out and give you a personal station by station tour.

We were at Wicked Spoon in July, and I agree that it is still amazing. I tried many of the dishes you tried, and there are others I missed, so I need to go back! Our server recommended the chocolate chip cookie, and it was incredible. Grab one or five next time, Mr. Ruby.

Went last week, It was very good. Got the BOGO because we're former Identity members. Bone marrow wasn't portioned, just a big pile. Hot and cold crab legs at 9 AM. They're pinching pennies in the rooms though.

We hadn't touched it but got charges for everything. Then at check out a bunch of charges where on bill. Front desk took them all off with question.

Wicked Spoon has been good for years. Hope it doesn’t drop off after MGM takeover. I have seen a lot of people show up just to eat the massive crab legs. I have already preferred their breakfast offerings.

I planned my first trip in 20 years (June 2023) around Ruby's recommendations. Did not make it here then, but hoping for next time. Do they not have the fried chicken anymore that you raved about? We ate the Friday Sept 13th. arrived about 11am. We LOVED every we tried. The line was not bad. We waited about 10 minutes, but by noon there was a long line. We thought it was WAY better than Bacchanal buffet, and it was cheaper. We paid full price for 3 adults and one child. So over $175 for the four of us. We are from a small town in eastern Kentucky, so the spending that much for four people is a lot. However, we felt it was worth it. We ate at Bacchanal a couple of years ago and felt very ket down. Nothing at Bacchanal stood out as being great, except for the desserts. In contrast EVERYTHING we ate at Wicked Spoon was wonderful. Oh and that lava cake was heaven in our mouths. Also I think they are not super strict on the 90-minute rule. We were finishing up right at the 90-minute mark. However there was three tables around us that were already seated and had their food when we sat down and they were still going when we left. I didn't see the staff checking people's receipts throughout their meals. The one downside we experienced was the VERY LONG wait time for our drinks. It was at least 10 minutes after being seated before someone asked us for our drink order and even longer to get our first drinks. They did have water on the table when we arrived, but for me, I am a Pepsi man and I was on my second plate before I got my drink. They were very busy but that is a bit extreme for getting a glass of pop.

We were there two weeks ago and really enjoyed it. We were seated pretty quickly, and even with the 90 mins didn't feel rushed even if it was about 2 hours before we were done and left.

Wicked Spoon has been my favorite strip buffet for years (I think it's better than Caesar's or Wynn, tbh) - I had not been there in a year or so until a trip a month and a half ago, and I also agree that the quality is still great despite the change in ownership. I am optimistic it will stay that way. Incidentally, I still think the Vesper bar (next to check-in) is one of the best cocktail bars _in the country_ (yes, it's better than Chandelier.). And re-confirmed it is still good. Several times. 😆

Will be staying at the Cosmo in 2 weeks. Last had Wicked Spoon two years ago and it was great. This trip we will skip it and instead go to the great Scarpetta one night for dinner instead. I get the time limit but also for “The Cosmo” it seems petty! I for one am concerned that MGM ruins a great classy Vegas hotel.

The buffets in Vegas are outrageously over priced. Most visitors don't realize that there is a huge Asian area just off the strip. May I suggest that you that you go to Dim Sum a no frills restaurant that the locals go to. Another favorite of mine is a Fuku burger. A one of a kind taste treat.

Exactly! I saw a different video of another LV buffet where ppl complained in the comments about having a time limit. Apparently, they think a buffet should be "all you can eat for the rest of your life." 🙄 But if somebody can't feel full after eating for even 60 minutes, they may need to see a doctor, because that's not normal.

I’ve heard mixed things about wicked spoon recently but this looks very good. However at 55 dollars I’ll never understand people who go and fill up on French toast and average pizza - if there’s an option to only eat brisket and mountains of seafood then I’ll always do that. I’ll happily pay stupid brunch prices but when it’s all you can eat my brain goes into get-your-money’s-worth mode!

Crab Legs used to be standard in all Strip Las Vegas Buffets before Covid and often times you could pay breakfast prices before 10:30am for around ~$20 and still eat crabs for Lunch. Vegas Buffets used to be so cheap and bargain that for many people it was the only place they were able to eat crabs and prime ribs without breaking the bank.
