Try to avoid booking hotels on booking , it;'s much more expensive, "XieCheng" is a good alternative I think since it is used by most people in China while booking is focus on the international tourists therefore more money will be spent.

maglev is capped at 300 kmh nowadays since it's a pretty old train. it use to peak at 430 kmh. come back to china in a couple years, 600 kmh trains coming 😂

You and your family went to Chengdu. I think you guys would be reluctant to leave even after a week. Chengdu is so relaxing. Your understanding is wrong. All police officers in China are now required to wear cameras when on duty, not to monitor people's behavior, but to record what happens after they go out to police. The air marshal is official request in every single commercial flight either domestic and international flight for Chinese airlines , just make sure no one would attack the cockpit and make something bad in cabin, the camera just record and make sure everything is ok and would not be keep too long when nothing happen, btw if you show your boarding pass or itinerary at the same day you ride the maglav you can get 20%or25% off

The air policeman’s camera is not able to do facial recognition😂😂😂 they are just recording cameras (as a regular policeman in China would have). It’s just used to record when something happens and the recording to be used as evidence or proof.

One of the trains of the company that makes the Shanghai Maglev crashed in 2006 in Germany. After that they limited the speed of the Shanghai maglev. There used to be certain times in the schedule where it did run at full speed, but I'm not sure they still do that.
