After doing a “what’s in the outdoor storage areas of our RV” video, I had several requests for what I carry in the bed of my truck when we go camping. In this video, I show what is in the bed of my truck.

Keep both crescent wrenches in. One for the bolt head and the other for the nut.

I'm more of the "inside "stuff" person, but my husband will enjoy watching this. By the way, after buying our first trailer only 3 years ago and watching countless of RV KZbin channels, your channel is the only one my husband will continue to watch. I would love to see videos of the two of you actually "RVing" at the campsites... cooking, prepping, etc. Whatever!Happy Easter!

Thanks! I use harbor freight tools as well. They work. Not the best but they do what I need them to do. I also have my share of snap on tools as well.

Carry both crescent wrenches. Sometimes you need a backup. Double nuts or bike tires.

I just saw an article that mentions maintaining your RV and avoiding acessive clutter by pulling everything out once a year and evaluating its use. If you find something you haven't used in a while, toss it. Weight is something RIDER'S need to constantly think about. Your tires are load rated, not just your RV. Allowing build up of items, reguardless of how small adds up in the overall weight situation. It is best to update outdated equipment too. This should be a pre- season event every year. Do NOT accumulate in an RV, it is asking for a blown tire, over heating bearings, loss of braking, the list goes on. Being a pack rat should be left for the homestead. Same goes for the tow vehicle. You can ALWAYS hit a store along the way, or see if a fellow RVer has what you need in a pinch.

It's like seeing an "underwear drawer" for RVers! Those cotter pins came in super handy for a friend of yours in Boothbay! Thanks for the video and the pins!

Interesting to see what you carry. It's like a checklist against what we have! I need to clear out the many extra rolls of duct tape that we have, plus I think I still have spare parts for T@B 400 windows in our toolbox.

I’ve found that even with a pipe extension on my lug wrench that in some cases I could not break the lug nuts free safely. I currently carry a 1/2 inch DeWalt impact wrench ( 20V MAX series) and that certainly does the trick without risking bending or breaking wheel lugs.

Thank you for sharing. You carry a lot of “just in case stuff”. We figure we would rather carry less and shop if we need it.🤣 I appreciate your willingness to open your “closets” so to speak. Not sure I would be as open.😊

One thing to add is pex pipe and fittings. I carry a 1,2,3’ foot pieces of pex pipe. Also straight,45 and 90 degree shark bite fittings. Also a small pair of pex cutters. You can fix any broken pipes in a matter of minutes!!

I give my dogs bottled water too. I have since I got them. Tap water here in CA is not the best. It smells. I wouldn't drink it so I don't give it to my dogs either.

Good video! I keep two crescent wrenches, because many times you may need to hold one bolt and tighten a second one. Can I suggest you carry some metric Allen wrenches or metric T wrench’s for your e-bikes? I’ve had to use mine a couple of times. I have a little tool box just for my e-bikes. I think it was a good idea, showing both videos of what you carry when traveling. Good job!!

When you first open the back of your truck up with the bikes in the containers in the water and the fire pit is that how you really travel with your fifth wheel hitched? Just good to know because we bought a new fifth wheel like yours except a cougar and we are wondering what we can put in the bed of our truck. Thanks for the videos keep up the Great work. Safe travels
