I would think setting it in the shower with bathroom roof vent running would not only get it totally out of the way but also control all the moisture released.

What I do in my airstream is use a metal drying rack that attaches to ceiling and has about 60 hooks and put that in front of my box fan ( which I use as a air filter at same time with a merv 13 20x20x4 filter attached ) This uses very little power and will dry clothes overnight. My filter gets dark so I know my air is dirty .

Thanks for the review Patrick! I’m interested. I am saving to purchase the washer and now the dryer to use in my 2010 Fun finder x210wbs. I work as a library assistant at the local elementary school and am looking forward to full timing in two years when I retire. In the mean time I follow you guys and a couple others while I weekend and summer travel. I’ve learned so much from you guys!

Patrick I never knew that they had this panda dryer out. It’s cute. Does it spin like a dryer does? I think it’s cute! It works. The washer works and the dryer works now we’re set to go camping without using their laundry mats. Thank you Patrick for demoing the Panda. It’s very good. Say hi to Patty for me! See you both soon. Stay safe.

no it doesnt spin. i creates a vortex of air flow around the objects instead of the objects themselves moving.

It looks like the type of thing that everyone thinks looks cute and promising so they spend the $100 for it and within a month everyone says, "yeah it's ok. Kind of a pain in the butt to set up and use. Takes quite a while to dry clothes. A lot easier to use the laundromat".

I wonder if a hooded hair dryer and your dryer rack would have done the same thing with a shower curtain over the top of it to contain the warm air? Well since my dryer was damaged in a flood and I'm strapped for cash right now, I'm going to try my idea.

If you search on Amazon for the following, you will find them. Washer: Costway Portable Washer. Dryer: Panda Portable Dryer.
@daenas3 жыл бұрын
I bought my Costway a few months ago because we don't have washer/dryer hookups and we live in an indoor apartment complex where people walk around w/out masks. So to take care of my elderly mother and myself, I had been handwashing clothes (not easy at all) but then with our stimulus money a few months ago I bought the washer. I freaking love it. May not be big, but that's okay, I can do several loads in a day and get everything washed. I use a rack in our living room and being that I'm in Yuma, AZ we use fans all year long and it takes more or less 30 minutes to dry our clothes. I had seen that dryer before and wondered about it. I like it and I'm glad you reviewed it with use as it gave me a chance to see it being using used and I value your opinion as well.

I wd put it in the shower stall with bathroom vent fully open and a dehumidifier running in there also. apparently if you just hang the clothes in the bathroom with the roof vent fan open/on and another lg fan sitting on the floor running with a good sized dehum in there the clothes will dry very quickly; others have tried my idea n it works very well they say.

Have you tried to dry a large bath towel or a heavy flannel shirt ? I am thinking about fall with some raining weather. I know slow but when it needs drying will it work or into town for a laundromat ?
@TravelswithDelaney3 жыл бұрын
We tried a bath towel and it does take longer but it will eventually dry. We don’t do our bedding in the washer...that we always go to a laundromat for. It’s crazy how dry the laundry comes out of the spinner on the portable washer which really speeds up the drying time with the dryer.

How well does it dry clothes in the different timer options (and what are those options)? Have you found the need to run it twice with things like towels? Had your tried bed sheets?
@TravelswithDelaney3 жыл бұрын
The time is just for length of time and doesn’t affect the heat. There is no heat setting. We haven’t tried sheets but I am sure you could hang it on the rack and do one sheet at a time.

Thanks for sharing. I have been curious about these. Great idea for small spaces! Even in a single apartment or motel room that would work out well. How long can it run for? I’m thinking it could handle a sleeping bag draped over the unit like the cover does.

@@TravelswithDelaney i ended up buying one and it takes a few hours. but they do eventually dry out. running this inside a small space completely makes it humid in that small space. which makes sense. the moisture has to go somewhere clearly.
