SL population is 22 Million. We are all registered from birth no one can live or do anything in the country without being registered. Even in very rural or economically challenged areas births are registered and counted. Our population is at max 22 million. However we have over 1.2 Million living overseas on employment and migration.

Sri Lanka In any case, in another 75 years, the population of Sri Lanka will decrease to 15 million. People should build new mosques, churches, temples and mosques. One thing is that it should be. People are migrating from country to country. Even if it's a rough day, our country is in a state of chaos. If it wasn't for that, it would be the same in India. We can't create the past, present and future. Unless people live in Sri Lanka, Sri Lanka doesn't live. The country will not develop. It was formed by millions of years of earthquakes, tsunamis, volcanic eruptions, or Lord Buddha, not God. If there are no people living in the countries of this world, there are different animal species. Like elephants, tigers and bears. As long as people do not respect each other, people are in the stone age. Those who say that Sri Lanka is the greatest country in the world are the ones who have done the greatest harm to Sri Lanka. For a country to develop, people need to improve their morals, wealth and literacy. They need to respect each other. In order to become an economic hub, all the races of the world should come to Sri Lanka and do business and make a spread of the first races. Countries like New Zealand,Dubai,Singapore,Sweden,Norway,Canada do not divide people into religions, but people measure people's skills by how they can work in that country. A country does not become an economic destination by itself. America developed not when white people came to America. Because people from all countries came to live there. Sri Lanka is poor as long as the borders are closed with rules. Laws are there for the welfare of the people of the country. Or not for the welfare of living nations. That's how Sri Lanka became poor. There are no programs, no attitudes, no public laws, people are poor...that means Sri Lanka is poor...it would be good if this could be broken. Otherwise, the people are in trouble. Countries Infrastructure is major work. Sri Lanka needs proper systems to rule the country like people.

Greetings. Excellent adventure of SL vlog. That elephant park is called Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage area. You may have 1st counters of experience. For wild, im sure some local will tell you like Yala park. Great adventures. Also yall should visit galle, tagalle, hikkaduwa, nuwan ela, Trincomalee (east coast), Jaffna, and Mannar or Elephant pass. Enjoy yall safe journey.

@12:45 Where did you get this figure of 7 million unregistered people in Sri Lanka ? Did you fall asleep on the train & dream of this statistic, or is it from a reliable source ? As I suspect the former, it might be helpful to the credibility of your channel not to make unsubstantiated statements. Just to help you along SL is a country drowning in bureaucracy, so the figure of 22 million is probably the right number for the population.

I left Sri Lanka when I was 17 and now I am 67. In the 50 years I have learned a lot about both countries . Sri Lanka is extremely bureaucratic . It also has strong communities. When I was young, about 6 years old ,I remember my dad talking to some neighbours because the tree had pushed the boundary in our holiday estate. The neighbours who lived in the village said to my dad "you live in colombo and come here for the weekend. We do not respect you ,so, if you want to argue about the fence, take it to court" . In England the neighbours would have called the police. In Sri Lanka ,the community will deal with most problems!!
