What vehicle is the command vehicle for zie germans? Base 4 to hit, spah truppen had a pin and the target had soft cover, isnt it 6 to hit then? And did the target had a gun shield?

I believe the command vehicle was the Hetzer. Cover no longer affects the to hit roll. It now provides a cover save.

What do you do to set up a table thats best for V3? Just started filming BA from flames of war and any ideas to make a good table would be appreciated.

I try to place building and such at angle to the table edges instead of at right angles. I find it makes it look more natural. I try to have a mix of built up areas and open sight lines. Open sight lines are important for any artillery or AT guns someone may have and built up areas are fun to play cat and mouse in.

12:43 I was never sure what people meant when they said Spähtruppen in recent videos, talking about the new army book. until I saw it written somewhere. They always pronounce it like Spartruppen, which would translate to something like savings group. But no, its Spähtruppen. Which are scouts. Its more pronounced like you would say he word ey. Just without pronouncing the y at the very end.

Really like your battle reports, always super high quality! I was wondering the roads you have placed on this mat is it just sand thrown down on top of the mat? If so how do you go about putting the sand down seemingly uniformly and do you just vacuum it up after? Thanks!

Yep just sand. Then I just take the mat outside and shake the sand off

Correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't infantry platoons required to unlock the minor platoon categories? So its illegal to have 2 minor platoons if you only have 1 infantry platoon.

Yea you are wrong. One infantry platoon unlocks one of each of the other types of platoons. Check the example platoons in the rule book.

Not that anything would change as he rolled a 1 on one of the 4 dice. But spotters are considered down whenever they do not have an order die on them (Page 102). So in Hard Cover with down spotter save should have been 2+. No one plays a perfect game, so by no means take this as a slight on your videos.

I thought if they did their spot “action” they were not considered down. As using an order dice on a spotter would virtually never bappen.

@@tabletopcp No as the order die went with whatever shot, as they can spot for multiple units in a turn. The only time the would not be down is if you gave them the die to move, cant think of another reason. As when they move the Mortar/Artillery that they belong to can't use the die.
