I love these types of scenarios. They flow just like the narrative in a classic novel and I love narrative games!!

Fun game! Since you asked for scenario feedback, I've noticed that in many Sharp Practice sneak attack scenarios the "attacker" has a pretty easy time actually getting to their objective quickly against little resistance, and then most of the game the onus is actually on the "defender" to dislodge them. It's an interesting twist, but the forces need to keep that in mind: in this particular game the French had neither the time nor the troops for a real counterattack against the more numerous and generally higher-quality British.

Very narrative feel for this one, as others have pointed out. It was like watching one of the books played out on the battlemap, which is fantastic.

Enjoyed it. Maybe move the tower further from Sharpes' side. It seemed too easy for him to get there. Would have been cool to see hi. Try to cross the town square.

He would of never made it. Would of went from too easy to impossible. I think having the tower door facing the square would of done the trick.

Nice scenario. Why didn't Steve use the blue flags to remove Shock from his routed Voltigeur unit. Also, couldn't Hume have taken over leader ship of the Grenadiers? When the Grenadiers shot at the sailors after the melee, they had two hits, but you didn't roll for a hit on your Officer. I think the scenario was a little skewed toward the British. The French were overwhelmed at the beginning and it was too easy for Sharpe to raise the flag. You should reverse the scenario and see how it plays with the British defending. Great game as always.

The three turn delay for the French reinforcements did not help the French cause. If they came on in one turn it would have been a different game. Plus the sailors taking practically nothing from like 8 hits in the flank allowed the to do damage. If they took 6-8 shock there is would have been a different game. A roll of the dice. I feel if we played it again it would turn out different. Even tiring the tower around so the door faced the village square would change the game a lot.

Maybe you could have the option to use cards to have the captive hidden in a different place from what they were told. Or when the tiffin is pulled add 1D6 to the 12" vision range as to heighten the tension.
