@@gloriamcfadden6342 - Right, however the irony here is Travis is your classic Patsy! i.e. the dummy who is way over his head who even his own Lawyers played him for a Fool because they knew what he and his racist dad did was indefensible! They played Travis to the hilt, just like what happens to any Patsy and the PROOF of that is they allowed him to take the Stand which was the very worst thing he could of done, having to be confronted by a seasoned State Prosecutor! It was very clear early on he was WAY OVER HIS HEAD! His Lawyers essentially allowed him to incriminate himself knowing full well the Prosecutor would eat him alive, and she did just that! Imagine spending the rest of your life in prison over someone else's property, and they didn't even ask you for help.... And for the sake of argument, let's say the kid did steal something, the penalty for theft isn't death, and maybe the kid had no business being in that neighborhood, but who is he to decide that, that's what the police are for.... And now, he's a wanted man in prison, he's hated by inmates and guards.

Why would he have no business being in that neighbourhood?..he lived 1.8miles away. Could it be because he is brown!

Without effective police or professional security, there is not a lot to do regarding public safety except turning your home into a mini fortress. They installed cameras but an alarm would have been helpful. Also, they stressed out too much about an open, unsecured property that didn't have any doors. All they had to do was take their tools with them. Travis had a gun stolen from his truck. I wouldn't leave a gun in a vehicle as a free gift to a car thief. They said a lady had her purse stolen from her car. If you leave something in a car, put it in the trunk.

We have a black girl that has been seen on the ring doorbell video several times breaking into home and then you see her inside the home on video cameras inside stealing from homeowners in our neighborhood. If I saw her, I'm not going to do a citizen's arrest but I will report it to the cops because they are the ones that are looking for her. And people in our neighborhood work hard for the things they have. Maybe she needs some training to get a good job. Sometimes people commit theft because of anger issues or a narcissistic and feel entitled, maybe some people steel because they are on drugs. But no one should ever confront these criminals, they are usually desperate.

If I’ve been robbed the last thing I’m doing is going around interrogating homeless people and following people to find out where they live and when someone ends up dead I feel justified acting in self defense. The good ole Facebook defense.
