My 42 year old daughter just asked my wife and I for help today for alcohol addiction. She’s musically connected, so I’m sharing this with her and going to love her through this. Thank you for sharing this bit of your life and soul.

Not sure why I’m just now hearing of Travis Meadows. I’ve heard Kenny’s version of this song but there’s just something more personal from The writer’s perspective. I sit here captivated by this song both lyrically and melodically while tears stream down my cheeks. I don’t know why, can’t explain it, but I’ve just been destroyed and rebuilt in less than 5 minutes. Pain and deliverance is a powerful thing.
@deniseoesterling95222 жыл бұрын
I agree! This rendition is amazing and to hear it from the original songwriter makes it even better. I like how you said "destroyed and rebuilt in less than 5 minutes". There's a song right there! : )

I’m a veteran, I just want to say thank you, your music has touched me like no other in my 57 years on this old rock. A bit of a picker and grinner myself, listening to your songs has made me commit more to playing music, the thing I find most comfort in.

Danny, its a True Artist who does it for expression, not to be famous.. Travis is by far, a better Musician and Artist than most. A man who writes about life experiences... He doesn't need all the hoopla and BS that goes along with it..He's jus a man, with a guitar and an awesome stories with heart..

I freakin love you!! I'm a writer, with so much to put down on paper, yet I suffer from writers block too often. It used to flow so easily, before life beat me down and stole my dreams, rendering my work complete garbage to me. You give me inspiration. I can't get enough of your voice, lyrics, music and soul. You are a constant repeat on my playlist and I keep discovering and devouring more of your music. Thank You, Sir. You are amazing💖What a dream and gift it would be to experience you live🙌* WOW edited to say after reading through the comments, you own the power to touch the hearts and souls of countless listeners. No surprise, just pure admiration💞
