I met Travis at the freedom factory. Such a nice person. Immediately had a nice conversation. First celeb I talk to there. Grew up watching him. 31 years old still a fan. Wish I was in your friend group. Adrenaline is a way of life.

I grew up watching him too and did the same thing at the freedom factory last November. He stood by us in the vip stands to watch the monster trucks, talked to him abt how cool the event was and got a selfie with him. Flew from Michigan but that made it worth it fs

I met him after his xgames flat spin 360 to faceplant and eye swollen shut black eye at swan mx park in tyler texas for the pro challenge. His eye was still bruised. He made it through practice and was hanging with my trainer waiting in staging. He got taken out by my trainer first moto first turn and broke his collar bone. Hes an amazing person and we talked for what seemed like hours. He stuck around to sign autographs and stole my sharpee lol. My dad asked me when i got back wheres the marker. He made me go ask for it back. Sorry for the novel. 😅

51 here was a massive Evil Knievel fan as a child. The first time I saw Travis i was a fan. Brian Deegan was another really good ride bitd but he was still never on the same level as Travis. i dont think anyone was back then. IDK if you are into skateboarding but he's like the Rodney Mullen of freestyle motoX

When I was a kid, I loved watching Travis’s old movies from the early 2000s. I was a massive fan, and I had a No Fear t-shirt with a photo of Travis doing a back flip on the back. I probably wore it 4 days a week. Anyways, my dad and I went to the Atlanta Supercross about 20 years ago. We’re getting ready to leave and we turn around, look up at the next bowl of the arena, and there sat Travis freaking Pastrana! Naturally, I’m wearing my Travis Pastrana shirt. I rip off my shirt, hand it to my dad, my dad throws the shirt up to Travis, he signs it, and throws it back down to us. I still have the shirt framed and hanging in my house 20 years later. I’ll never forget that day! Thank you 199, you’re the man!

Travis was kind enough to do a cameo in a movie I was doing for Disney Channel back in the day. He was so cool on set, standing around for hours with an injured leg if I remember correctly. But he would talk for hours about whatever and had boundless energy. I'm glad he's kept it going and passed on that joy to all his friends and family. What a great story!

Snuck into the pits at a Canadian nitro cross event a bit before it started and Travis was in there with a bunch of the racers and mechanics. Guy did not even hesitate for a millisecond to welcome us over to hangout and talk, signed my Pastrana Dixxin shirt and let us just hangout for a while. Unbelievably humbling experience and truly a time I'll never forget. He's just a down to earth normal guy out to have fun.

Travis was racing MX and inspired my son to start riding and racing, so he used the number 919, he knew he couldn't use the 199, so 919 it was. Travis was an excellent role model for young kids to emulate at the time when there were seriously bad influences out there. I'll be forever grateful for Travis being there for my son, without him even knowing!

Looks like so much fun man! We always just ride in the woods but so many properties are posted nowadays, the majority of the paths to get where we ride are off limits now so it gets harder & harder to find good spots. It’s awesome to have a place for you & your friends to always ride.

I grew up watching Travis and idolizing him cause I also WAS in extreme sports and I rode dirt bikes. I trained in Utah at the Utah Olympics first for freestyle skiing and then for aerial's where I made it to the D team of US Ski Team and had really good shit of making Torino Italy Olympics. Then one day while training I broke my back putting an end to my aerial's career, I am lucky to be walking unlike my dad who I take care of who got paralyzed dirt biking. It was my first day on a track of my first year riding I was 12 yrs old on a Honda CR 125 that was port and polished and ran on high octane racing fuel, it was way to much bike for my scrawny lil butt! Go big or go home right!! Now adays I have settled down quite a bit after so many injuries and surgeries. One of my biggest bucket list dreams is to be able to go to pastranaland and utilize my engineering and metal fabrication skills as well as my knowledge of jump making to help them build some cool shit!!! I would damn near do anyghinv to get that chance! Pastrana your the man!!!!
