Travis Tritt is my favorite. I was just a very young little girl listening to this and the other 2 songs that go with this. An my dad is his doppelganger. They look almost identical during this ageless especially. My dad got bigger and gained weight as a teen age but when I was young that is what he looked like. God rest my dads soul. 13 yrs gone now but everytime I hear travis tritt I tear up while singing my heart out in the car. It's like hes right there with me. He especially loved "it's a great day to be alive". He went out and bought the CD right away. Then he died unexpectedly a short time later.

Oh Billy, this one is so hard for me to watch. I was holding on to the hope my son would make parole this year but he was denied again. We wait now until July 2021, for his 8 year sentence to be completed. He just sent a letter and he is filled with such despair. One fellow has committed suicide and another incident where 3 inmates beat another very badly. He always tells me to keep the faith.... I do. 💕

Travis was a different cat when he came out in the 90s. In the early 90s only Garth Brooks out sold him. Travis had 3 sides to his music. The soulful ballads, the fun loving country and a southern rock side that set him apart.
