You ever notice the steering wheel in your 7600 Seems bent lol? I love watching you run that tractor. It’s so nice to see someone who is a true/talented operator run something. Sometimes you watch someone operate a tractor or equipment and you just want to ask them to get out before they break something lol.. I’m sure the other agricultural people on here know what I mean. Your a true farmer man it’s in your blood. Thanks for the video!

I never wash my baler. Water and bearings don't mix on them. I just take the leaf blower and blow all the crap off of it. Keep on keeping on.

Your first crop bailing went better than ours. We finished up in 60 mph wind gusts and heavy rain. We where bailing with our kuhn and Deere bailers loading with a s590 hauling 18 with a TG 230 12 with 4760 9 with a 4240 we called it with 60 acres left because they where calling gulf ball sized hail and tornadoes. And the bails had to be wrapped.

My roller will do that some times with the tailgate them sensors might get a little dirt or leaves in the magnetic sensors and it will lose connection. Every so often with mine I’ll get out and clean out around the latches and it will stop throwing the gate code.

Does your father like the JCB . It must be smoother loading hay in the field rather than the bobcat

Hi, Good video, Don't you put any nitrogen on the grass early season and after first cut ? we do, it works well for us, helping growth. Can't you put the 4020 on that trailer your dad bought, to get it to distant fields quicker?

We live and learn..... All the old timers thought it best to just blow the dust off and put it away.... Then, it was clean it up good and don't get the bearings wet, or put it away dirty... Anymore, I don't care what it is, clean it up good!!! We blow all we can off the balers, then it's the hose with a straight tip nozzle.... Then the pressure washer!!!! Lots of good reasons... For one, every time someone is cleaning on it, they're also inspecting for anything that doesn't look right... Last thing after the pressure washer is, grease and lubricate..... And make any repairs. Put it away ready to go... Then regrease and lubricate before it leaves the yard. Even the fancy new electronics can get cleaned up... After all, it all sits outside on the dealers lot all winter.. (we get well over 40" of rain in the winter, stays damp for over half the year...) Worried about the wiring??? Pop the plugs, blow them out with air...fill with dielectric grease and plug them back in 😎😁 Looks like it sucks to be me, video won't finish loading, so... Good luck!!

The Rest Of The Story that's what we say about our 530 baler, paid for is better than payments as long as it is doing its job and not causing too much downtime or expense in repairs.

28 bales for first crop might be a bit of a disappointment, but as you said, it can't be helped. Calvin is still a good dog, despite crop dusting you. Parts supply would be a bit of a crap shoot in terms of what needs to be kept on hand at your dealer. (Thanks Ryan F!) At least the crops are coming up and not waiting to be put in the ground. Forgive yourself: there is *no such thing* as a "regular" season. Remember to stick with the decisions you have made.

Charles Beauregard that is the way he learned to bale from his dad and grandpa.
@floydfarms1578

I learned the same way. No point in wearing out the slip clutch and having to replace discs in it every few years or every year depending on how many bales you make.
@lukestrawwalker

Plus by shutting the PTO off, the bale stops turning and he can look between the belts and see if there's net wrap actually on the bale BEFORE he opens the gate and drops the bale, at which point it's too late to go back and re-wrap the bale with another wrap of net... Later! OL J R :)
