Great video, guys! I got my last full hair cut on November 2016 and my next cut was a year later was because the top of my hair was a mess and it was longer then the sides and back. When that got tidied up I literally left it until the following March and then I got my trims every few months and now we’re nearly on four years and it’s almost to the middle of my back and I get my ends trimmed every two months or so just to not kill it. Literally tidying it up and that’s what has kept it going, and that’s WITH hair colouring added to it too. I tend to do the half up and half down look and usually french pleat the pony on it! Just to add that Viking/Thor vibe!

I have a ridiculous amount of thick hair that is more coarse in texture and have wanted to grow my hair long for some time except when I grew all my hair out it became too heavy and high maintenance, so I lightened the load and found it more manageable as well as balanced when I gave it an undercut. I can rock a bun, a ponytail, or wear down without noticing an obvious undercut. For me, I have the best of both worlds in hairstyle, a clean tight outline when the hair is up or a fuller longer look when it is down. I also wear those different looks with a vintage ball cap, beanie, or a flat cap.
