I enjoyed the video. It was a good comparison. In working with our school club we ran the 2.0. Traxxas radio was a big issue for the students. Because, you cannot adjust the steering travel it made it much harder to drive than other rtr cars. I think the 4-Tec can be a great spec class or beginning touring car because of it's durability, water proof electronics, etc. But, Traxxas needs to stop being so cheap with it's radio on the basic kits.

Watching this video confuses me on why people would want to upgrade to the VXL power system. The XL5 system looks plenty fast to me. I feel like the VXL would be too much and break things more often.

Foams work great at high speeds and you will need tsm at high speeds or they will just keep spinning out..i have both of them also

I bought a TT02 22b STi kit. No radio, but came with a little 2s capable 540 electronics. I threw in my TRX6 550 electronics and erevo 2.0 RX (I prefer my FS GT5 stability programming for my erevo) and run 3s with taller gearing. Hard drift tires. Skates around like it’s on ice and instant crawler reverse and drag brake are hella fun on a drifter. . Makes me want to built a mamba x 4tec drifter for higher speeds and tuning.
