Hi all. I might have been rude about Traxxas in the past and now they are trying to hurt me! Here we have the Traxxas Xmaxx, Arrma Mojave 6s, Arrma Mojave 4s, Arrma Outcast 4s, Traxxas Maxxx Slash, Arrma Senton, Traxxas Slash in a big bash bonanza. Many thanks indeed for watching. Big air time Pete! Oh well, it nearly got you in the chops but that saving hand and some nifty footwork saved the day! Bloody funny and a fun to watch video mate! Those on-board jumps were so cool, very brave to fit a camera to one of these monsters but worth it for the footage. What better than 4 blokes bashing away at it in a field?!?!?! 😅😅 Bash-tastic! Hello mate. Oh yeah I was watching my car with the camera on and so didn't notice 11kg of Xmaxx heading towards my bonce 🤣 With the on board shots I think the camera would be ok as it's in a case but it does tend to come off the mount or the mount gets broken so I quite often need to go and find it in the field. Oh yes the chaps were bashing away all afternoon. I haven't really got the stamina these days 🤣 Anyway, Sunday is going well. No RC today as the chaps weren't available so been sorting out the garden. Rewarding myself with a beer now and I think I've earned it. Hope yours is going well too. Cheers for now 😁

Looked like a fun day of bashing and crashing. Glad the encounter with the xmaxx was only a close one and not a direct hit, that really would have hurt. Thanks for the fun commentary and great footage Pete, I enjoyed it!

Hiya Addam. Yeah it was a good session for sure. I did get a hand on the Xmaxx as it headed towards my face which was a worrying moment. I don't exactly move that quickly these days! Cheers for watching mate, best wishes 😁

Hiya Nick. Ah yes well I do need to call out Traxxas every now and then, especially when one tries to kill me 🤣 Yes I just about avoided injury this time. Just shows that you need to be a bit careful with this hobby, especially with cars that weigh the same as a suitcase. Cheers for watching mate. Best wishes to you 😁

Ha yes well the Traxxas boys are always keen to point out how fiddly the clips are on an Arrma and my argument back to them is that at least the body actually stays attached to the chassis! 🤣 Many thanks indeed for watching and your kind feedback. Much appreciated 😁👍

Hiya James. Bashing myself, tee hee 😂 Yes I should probably take a bit more care when these big Traxxas bully boys are around! No I'm not warming to the dreaded brand at all, it's just that my friends all have them so the footage I get has them in I'm afraid. I did sell my old Slash 2wd so now I'm a fully Traxxas free household and I feel better for it 😇 Many thanks for your great feedback mate. Best wishes 😁👍

Have you considered wearing safety equipment, maybe get a sponsorship with a work wear brand? If I may can I ask a technical question, I am trying to get the quality of the tour videos to look better as it looks fine, but when I upload to the KZbins it seems to make it look awful. I have been filming and rendering in 1080, but fo you film in 4k and is that not creating HUGE files. I understand if this is a trade secret but it is something I am trying to address currently

Yeah I think hard hat and high vis would be a good idea with those Traxxas bully boys up to their antics. With the vids I am videoing in 4k 60fps or 120fps and sometimes I render at 4k but more often I use 1440p (2560 x 1440) 60fps. One thing that has a big effect on the end result is the bit rate that you render at. I tend to use 80,000kbps. KZbin obviously does a bit of compressing when you upload things so the better it is in the first place, the better it will end up hopefully. Oh and I use the higher bit rate setting on the GoPro. Yes you do end up with a load of big files I'm afraid. Your stuff looks pretty clear anyway I think. I did notice in the past that block paving was doing a funny digital pixilation thing but I thought that recently your vids are looking sharp 👍

@@PeteWylieRC thanks for that and it is something I try to tweak, its just when you have chance to get out to film, you don't get chance to fiddle with the cameras as much as you like and video editing software is like tinkering in the Dark Arts

@@RCsoandso well the higher frame rates are only really needed if you want to slow it down in the edit and you don't do much of that from what I remember. What editor do you use out of interest?

@@PeteWylieRC I use Premier Pro now, and it does everything i need and a hell of a lot more, i do tend to KZbin a lot of stuff, but the issue usually is how to word the question 🤣😂
