Did you assimilate this with him thinking it was because HE stopped because you put yourself at the center or at least WANT to be the center of attention ? Skateboarding , it is one of the biggest and powerful industries in America. That died in the 80s before making a huge comeback. From the perspective of one who races 1/8 scale E and Nitro buggies...the new Jato 4x4 BXL 2S version is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!!! We unboxed and put three of these in the hands of experienced racers and first timers alike and the result was absolutely some of the best racing I have ever had. This will quickly become it's own class. The second major point is that this is the gateway drug to full 1/8 scale racing. The buggie flies amazingly well, is very easy to drive, and provides a level of competition that is great for newbies, experienced, and everything in between.

I believe on the Traxxas website they’re touting it as a 1/8 scale buggy. One of my local tracks runs a 1/8th scale buggy class that I’m thinking about joining, just trying to find the right starter car for me.

I'll tell you what, I got real disappointed in rc when I stupidity bought an HPI crawler with the bronco body, got the turning circle of a real lifesize truck, and it's high centre gravity makes climbing ridiculous. Now I just build my own custom rc stuff, and half the reason there is some parts prices just cannot be justified, some of these companies think we are covered in gold or something.

Mate I never knew you had an RC channel.... I am not fussed on the name but I am sure you understand how name licencing works, don't use it you loose it. Hence why we now have a Tamiya Super Hotshot instead of a Tamiya Supershot!!! Traxxas has the Jato name and must want to keep it, so this will keep it ticking along. I don't remember any uproar when the TRX name was switched from their racing buggies of old to a rock crawler......Probably because the racing market is way smaller than the bashing/fun market and unless you have been in the hobby for over 30 years you wouldn't even know they were in the racing market. Looking forward to seeing more from this channel.

Its not like the old Bandit either! because the Bandit has a different Chassis and other Components are also different. They should have called it Bandit V2, Revision 2 or simply TRX Buggy 4x4. I am not that deep into RC cars anymore, but I think the whole Traxxas Line-up is confusingly big at this point (maybe that's intentional, I don't know)

Old rcnightmare with the 1/8th scales. It’s probably based on the jato platform like the 4tec 2 was an update to the predominantly nitro 4tec.
