Hey Nolan finished up my Slash 2wd and it turned out pretty awesome thanks for that series! and I just bought a clean used Maxx and a Clean used Hoss! Keep up the videos I appreciate it!

Awesome man! The Slash 2wd is a ton of fun! If I hadn’t done the “Cheapest Traxxas Slash Project” I don’t think I ever would have bought one…..I’m glad I did cause it’s a ton of fun! Did you get a v1 or v2 Maxx?

@@RCKnockout V1 well taken care of and clean! And yes the Slash series helped.me out and it is a Ton of fun! Running a Castle copperhead and a 1406 5700 KV Combo in it. Combined with the Gearing you had in your link it goes well on 3s

Cool bash with your maxx, I have a Maxx myself it's a V1 i'm not sure if i'm going to convert it to a V2 or sell it and get a new V2 mine already has the widemaxx arms, widemaxx steel axles, widemaxx aluminum toe links and the 17mm aluminum hexes with nuts. So if i got a new v2 i would lose all those upgrades so i might just keep mine and do a v2 conversion to it.

Yeah I’m not sure how much you’d gain with the v2 over the v1

Nice video and location. Will these 2.8” work with the v2 stock gearing and esc without overheating or damage? The v2 is 23t/50t

I tried installing the same power hobby tires & the front ones hit the arms. Did you have that problem?

No I don’t think I’ve had any issues with them contacting the arms…it’s hard to remember though…you could turn your full steering lock down a bit if they’re barely contacting the arms

No I tape the holes on the inside of the wheels so no water and dirt can get in
