See he did it right, a lot of people put aluminum arms that connect to plastic. The aluminum arms won’t break but what ever it’s connected too will so if u start getting aluminum suspension parts you gotta buy pretty much everything aluminum. Like this guy he went full aluminum.

CASEY BENSON yes it was my first ground up build I started with an easy platform that’s well know so I could figure out how to make the transmission stronger with a hot racing diff and bigger bearing but notice the input shaft that the spur gear drives is sooo weak where the pin go thru it so now I run the proline HD trans it fixes the weak points in the transmission 👍👍👍🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

Earl Moorhead I just wanted to mess around with the Slash with no real tuning involved. I have two 2WD Slashes (no prep and outdoor track) and the 4WD. I think the real 1/10 scale drift cars are almost too small and low on crappy Michigan roads so a short course truck LCG chassis is perfect. Low but not too low and a car that size could handle imperfections in the road/parking lots.

I have a all aluminum one too ,integy chassis before they made em narrow . I need the pins for front rear hubs and a arms that have e clips lost over years somehow I never used it was shelf queen I'd borrow the tranny and wheels only parts that arent aluminum. I'm going try contact integy some of the parts are strc tho . I had slot fun with the 2wd slash and 4 but like you said ppl be amazed how fast my 2wd slashes were I had like 5 of them and let my son use them after duratrax,lol unfortunately I moved couple years ago somehow lost the slashes some other traxxas rc stuff but I still have aluminium and 4wds and arrmas and losis yes you right ppl dont know what great rc my main one was a Herbie theme
