Traxxas Slash 2wd with UPGRADED

In this video I Mount the Traxxas Upgraded Paddle Tires (TRA5891) onto my Traxxas Slash 2wd Brushless, then Rip it around in the Sand!

Sure like to see you run that thing someplace like you did in the Mojave again I’ve had five real Baja bugs and use to live just down the Cajun pass from the Mojave in San Bernardino I use to run out there it looked like a blast

That would be fun! The issue was constant overheating in the Mojave….couldn’t go 2 minutes without hitting temp mode….I’d almost have to go in the winter to combat the heat issue

I always put velcro in the bottom of the battery tray and on the battery to help lock it down. It helps keep the battery from slamming back and forth on hard front and rear landings etc. I raced hardcore for 4 years and I never had a battery come out or get damaged. Nice video, something I do for the on/off switch, I deleted it. I cut switch off and solder the wires together and so now you just connect/disconnect the battery for power on/off.

Cool my dad has a Yokomo drift car but he doesn't drive it very much. I got 2 4s 6200Mah LIPOS, 2 25KG Metal Gear servos and a Futaba r304sbe receiver for christmas this year. I don't know why mine won't wheelie on a 3s pack. I'm running the same motor and esc in the snow (paddle tires) but my gears are 54t spur w/15t pinion gear. Is that why? Rear suspension is really soft and I assume it's a mix

I’m not sure if the suspension would cause that?….it would have to be super soft to prevent it from doing a wheelie….Is the car still tracking straight under power?

How does this 2wd not have enough torque to control itself in the air on 4's? Your gearing is to low or slipper too loose. My 4x4 with hobbywing Sc8 and generic ebay Queens hobby 2700kv motor Mod 1 gearing 16/40 4mm shaft can do quad backflips on 4's 100c.

Because a 2wd doesn’t have nearly the control in the air as a 4wd machine does….it has nothing to do with the gearing or slipper clutch

@@RCKnockout You still are lacking tons of torque for 2wd. My 2wd vxl Rustler Can do double backflips on 3's. Somethings wrong with the build.

your 3's stampede can do double backflips. The slash 2wd shouldn't struggle to do 1 backflip on 4's. You honestly shouldn't even have to pin the throttle like you do on jumps just to get 1 backflip and barely land it. No hate I'm just saying somethings going on here.
