I am jealous of that castle system. I seen you bouncing a lot on the landing. My truck does the same thing. Need to tune it up a bit. The wind was rough but I totally feel ya. Windy a lot when I go to film and it always makes me mad haha.

I will do that in the next video. But the truck comes with a mount the screws in to the chassis and that mount is for the 13t pinion. It helps the chassis stay aligned. The mount only works with the stock 13t pinion.

I had no issues since I’m still running the stock pinion for now. That means I can use the mount that Traxxas provides. It’s when you change the pinion size and that mount no longer works that this issues start.

Did you run higher voltage to the servo? Curious how the servo speed would be on 7.4 volts.

What do you mean dude? Every ESC, other than Traxxas junk, allows you to adjust the BEC voltage to the servo. He has a CC MMX8S ECS in there, so of course, he upped the BEC to 7.4 to run max power to the servo. Which is how it should have been out of the box, for $800. Traxxas ESC's are complete garbage. Tuned down and weak. With no adustability for BEC, LVC, punch, or brakes, that makes their ESC's and their rigs, for me, and alot of others, a hard pass.

Yes. It made a little difference. But the issue with the servo is speed. It's very sluggish.

The SSTE is lighter, so it does behave a little different. But I am surprised at how good the Sledge handles. Once a get a good servo in the truck, it's going to be that much better.

Beautiful controll that what lm seeing over an over so thats cool. And the unmatched durability. You should run two one inch screws threw your rug so it doesn't move. No lm not talking about a hair piece lol. The things we do for bashing. Good call on getting rid of that shitty 6sesc and smart to do a combo. I hear the new 2000kv motor is awesome. Its the same esc and they are not good at all went threw 3on my udr. No water and little snow. The only reason l was getting the same thing is the traxxas electronics lifetime warranty

No. Castle MMX8S esc, but a 6S pack and a 1515/2200kv (4074, similar to stock sized) sensored motor.

Unless it's a highly scipted promotional video, I don't really like music on rc videos. Definitely motor sounds + optionally some voice comments but if it's windy, best to add the comments I post prod (this obviously needs more effort, though). In this case it's easy to hear you so it came out great :) Is the braking sound at 7:25 a normal thing on Castle combo? Seems off to me, like a wheel rubbing on the body. Do you plan on running the truck on 8S? Last time you showed us different LiPos but both were 6S.
