Nice run, nice location, and thanks for the shoutout! Just a bit of history, the Sledge was made as a replacement for the aging E-Revo/Revo race truck, so it has a bit more of a racing bias (for a Traxxas anyway), and was designed to compete directly with the Kraton 6S. It definitely was made to go in the air -- check out the official Traxxas video for the truck to see it doing triple backflips off huge dirt jumps and 20-30ft long airs. And obviously since it was meant to compete with the Kraton, it has to be at least somewhat competent in the air. IMO, unfortunately it has issues jumping it even 5 ft high. But it's not so much whether you SHOULD jump it 5ft+ -- that's obviously up to the owner. Anyway, glad you're having fun with the truck. The Kraton also has a bit of a learning curve to understand the weaknesses and needs a bit of tuning adjustment to make it reliable, but once you understand the platform it can be a very impressive truck with a very high performance ceiling without having to spend any money on upgrades.

Hey Razor ! Thanks for stopping by buddy , Well I’ve owned all 3 now and yet I feel since having the Kraton EXB v2 as a stock truck it’s very capable yes but we’re I’m coming from here I had nothing but issues with mine ( maybe a quality control issue ? ) and I also am very specific when setting up a truck , I’ve hand more packs through this sledge and it feels solid , maybe I’ve not made this clear for use case the sledge is excellent on the floor I feel it handles better than the Kraton I said in my videos I’m not a sender line yourself , infact I’m terrible in the air ! Yes the spektrum electronics have more of an aggressive feel to them but by no means is the sledge a slouch . Now the Kagama I feel is very much uncomfortable feel to it when driving very aggressive so much so you can’t pin the throttle , on the Kagama I broke two bellcranks , two wing mounts and a servo when I spoke to Corally about it then said the damage must of happened before and also that they haven’t seen it happen before ? All 3 are great but for me the sledge is excellent ground and pound basher . Maybe I’ve been unlucky or as you said maybe it’s just the owner but so far this truck I’ve only needed to change a pinion and a bent screw . If I can get through 10 packs back to back with the sledge it will through testing be more reliable for my use thank the Kraton and Kagama . I do feel everyone has different experiences, I know the sledge if far from perfect but the whole point of my channel is not reviewing is recording my journey and experience through the hobby and leave for others to make there mind up if they would like . By the way my Kraton was built buddy in the sense of I gave it all the best upgrades I could and yet it still let me down on the most mediocre of things unfortunately. it is a amazing bash spot great for us ground pounders I enjoy some jumping but speed and drifting around is where I have fun glad to see your enjoying the Sledge. I feel like low voltage kicks on faster with no traxxas batteries because the esc can read the smart batteries but maybe thats me I am surprised how long mine last. Great video my friend

Love the sledge. Added motor fan, motor mount washers, and wheelie bar. Would not trade it for any arrma product.... I'm glad you're running it stock and not just throwing money at it that doesn't need to be spent. Great videos, great entertainment, sir . Most of all, you seem to have fun and not just destroy rc cars.....

Hey buddy , Yeah so do i its right up in the top 3 for me right now in fact . Strange others give it so much hate , Considering the way i run my trucks mind others love jumping , its ok though the worlds a funny place and if we all liked the same things it would be boring hey ! Yeah i intend to run it stock for as long as i can , I really want to see were it takes me , Ive done the motor plates as well and a fan today after cleaning it and also a rpm front bumper plus i am using the hardened spur gear now also . So glad your enjoying the videos and yes its a hobby for me foremost a way of relaxing and coming home happy and chilled , breaking stuff for views just is not how i roll for sure . The E-Revo is kinda a truggy. And is the same size as the Sledge, even though Traxxas classed it as a 1/10th scale monster truck. Everyone else considered it 1/8th scale. The Revo suspension is what makes the Revo the Revo. I own a 10 year old V1 Brushless Edition and love everything about it.

Hey there buddy , Yes i agree with you its not over the top and also very stable , Yes buddy i prefer this to the Kagama and also the Kraton 6s , I cant put my finger on why but genuinely much prefer this . Hey Paul buddy , Wow thanks so much , Yeah i got to say i really love the sledge to be fair , Such a awesome truck ! maybe try this one next ???? lol Nice Haul with the kagama there crazy trucks to be fair so much fun out of the box , I will say they work better with a diff tune , Shock tune and gear up on 4s mind and a few minor tweaks . The Sledge is way more stable and it feels more planted . Its all dependant on your use case if you want a more stunt orientated truck the kagama is possibly better but takes some driving , the sledge is more a drivers truck it does what you want it to , Feels very rewarding to drive it . @@borislavpenkov1544 ok well that’s a easy one for hard ground bashing I’m going for the Sledge , it’s very stable and easy to drive gives you confidence when driving . The Sste is more agile and nimble and not So planted . The Sste your going to need to upgrade a fair amount to make it tough as nails
