Adjust by lowering the trim tab further down. It's no use increasing the weight of the battery.

Off season plan is to get adjustable trim tabs. May try bending the ones on the boat if I get a chance yet this fall. Not a fan of them though
@jaycevessier7554Ай бұрын
@@MarksAultimateRC the factory tabs are adjustable, just take a pair of pliers
@MarksAultimateRCАй бұрын
I will likely try that if I get a chance yet to run it the next few weeks. Long term, still think I will look into adjustable trim tabs though
@jaycevessier7554Ай бұрын
@@MarksAultimateRC well yeah long term, I’m just saying for now. And bend the right side tab down 2mm lower than left side
@UlisesBatallaАй бұрын
Brother, why do you not just trim the stinger and get the hop out? That is what the trimming surfaces are for. I can take that boat and remove the turn fins and trimtabs and still with a stinger, and CG and have no hop! Start 3 degrees negative and start raising it till the hop is back. WEIGHT IS THE WRONG APPROACH!
@MarksAultimateRC24 күн бұрын
Assuming you mean the prop shaft when you refer to the "stinger"? Do you have this boat? External prop shaft mount is not adjustable. If it is adjustable on the inside, it can't be easy by the looks of it. Next posted run will feature bending the stock trim tabs, will likely get adjustable trim tabs over the winter for this boat to get the best results.

Dude adjust your tabs down. Weight is not the fix at all. And get some bigger batteries, those are junk
@MarksAultimateRCАй бұрын
Bigger batteries equals more weight. Does it not? RC battery has been pretty good for what you pay. They are one of the most accurate with their c ratings
@jaycevessier7554Ай бұрын
@@MarksAultimateRC way too low of c rating. That’s what I meant by bigger, more c rating.
@MarksAultimateRCАй бұрын
Actually, RC battery along with SMC are one of the most accurate C ratings of any battery pack in the industry. Chances are, most 100C packs out there aren't anywhere close to 100C, but you paid them like it was.

You paid $500 for the boat and that’s exactly why it comes with a plastic prop. Do you expect a $40-50 metal, balanced prop to come on a $500 boat? Can’t be serious. You are really going to be upset when that self righting hull sinks
@MarksAultimateRCАй бұрын
Have you actually looked at the Sonic Wake 36? Direct competitor to this boat, more features runs better out of the box, telemetry, HAS A DRAIN PLUG, better transmitter, for less money. You can't be serious........ Never had one sink that's all I run, wow man.
