I have a Hoss. It's consistently been one of my most reliable and tough bashers. Not the best performing but I can routinely count on it to come back from a bash in one piece. I truly think it's an underrated platform and Traxxas did a good job with it.

Stampede is awesome, Traxxas actually recommends letting the R/C sit in the cold for 30 min or so b4 running in snow, they say getting the chassis cold b4 running helps keep the snow from freezing on the R/C, it actually does halp....i actually looked through a manual one time. lol

It is a great platform for the 4s esc from the Maxx. They also make a different battery hold down arm to accept the 4s battery pack.

Totally agree with you about needing more power in the snow. I went 30/30 with a 1650kv max 6 and paddle tires in my mojave exb. That thing was a complete savage in the snow. So much fun. The best thing is not having to worry about heat issues when it's 20 degrees outside and the esc and motor keep getting packed with snow.

I run Dusty Motors breathable filter/covers on my Rustler 4x4 VXL, E-Revo 2.0 and Maxx. These covers help immensely with keeping snow out of the inner chassis and away from the electronics. They have a zipper down the middle, which makes battery changes a lot easier except for the E-Revo with those side battery compartments of course.

Snow is fun!! i have a Rally and yes it catches a lot of snow in that body, covered wheel cars are not great for snow!!! Stampeded 👍 Xmaxx 👍👍💯

Awesome bash in the snow. I have the same one, same color and all. I love it, and love the blue and orange. 3s and 4s are my wheelhouse. I have some 2s and enjoy them. And one 6s (notorious) and one 8s (XRT). But I find myself having the most fun, and driving my 3s and 4s rigs the most.

Great snow bash! We don't have a Stampede, but the Arrma Granite is a ton of fun in the snow! Definitely stick to open wheel cars in the snow! Actually, the 4s Outcast is awesome in the snow.

Put the paddle tires on it you’re still full pin, but it just hovers on the top. With the lighter cars like the stampede.

Hey, I've got the same truck, I thought the same as you, it has loads of tork but gets up to speed too fast, i went up to a 18 tooth pignon and it really woke it up, it gets hot but with all that snow you probably won't have that problem lol

Oh man , whomever has a rlaarlo Omni try some Gorgon tires or granite tires 😮😂. The 14mm arrma hex’s worked for me . Maybe lower the droop to help the outdrives and dogbone pins

Nice. Good stuff, I have the exact same one. 100% agreed the Stampede is a great RC. Good content, liked the snow run. Was that about 2” or so? I run mine in the dirt and grass so far and it handles great. Be safe. Keep warm. 👍🏁🏁🏎️
