You might not know the full stuff it is to that but you are better to make your own rc trucks or heavy modified. The rc brands are lame and cheap they might not care for the product or hobby that much but for money

Well said. For a hardcore hobbyist who cares about good performance, most rtrs are crap out of the box. Manufacturers care about hitting certain speeds out of the box thats it. I have an MS in Accounting but work with engineers. Accountants want to save money, engineers want to make something awesome. A lot of people don't realize how badly accountants destroy products. For example the X Maxx is such a mess out of the box. Pathetic handling and bad esc programming. But the average consumer who buys it and uses it 10 times total doesnt care. The X Maxx offers an amazing experience with upgraded steering and widemaxx for my purposes. The X Maxx is in a league of its own, its a great looking high riding mt....the kraton just doesnt do it. They should take a note from Redcat and ditch the stupid wings, no one is racing their 1/5 scale pigs. @Johnny6ex

I just ordered one last night I’m so stoked! I haven’t had a RC car since the E-maxx before they went waterproof with some stuff. It’s been a long time lol.

I have this truck and love it it is stable and reliable and pulls double backflips pretty easily..I did put gtr shocks on it,motor fan and Traxxas red 2255 servo and this thing is great.

Maxx slash didn't come with a 2075. But you are 100% correct on the servo burning out. Every single one I've owned has failed rather quickly

Yes, you're right. I just consider all those blue case traxxas servos the same. They're all garbage.

I have ran those 540xl motors to 100+mph on alot of rigs. They love Traxxas VXL-8s Escs on 6s. I am running that motor right now on the Arrma Fury with a Castle/Traxxas 6s XO1 esc that has kind of walled at 92mph.

It was pretty solid running with the Castle esc. I'm not 100% sure what I'm going to do. Throwing in one of the 1/8 escs I already have would be the cheapest choice.

I have been thinking about this truck, I have all of the other 10th scale traxxas trucks, but not this one. I love that paint scheme.

Love the color. Only weak points I can vouch for are the front arms (needs RPM). The thin hinge pins cause the HD arms to break at the chassis. Also they really need to add the Titanium shafts to these stock shocks or just include the Big bore variant they've offered for years. They bend too easily

My HOSS has the exact same specs motor and esc plus a center diff. They removed the center diff and added that hd kit on that new stampede. Which is probably a good tradeoff. Can always add a center diff. Anyways grats on the new truck they are a blast might have to get a stampede body for my hoss lol.😂

This truck has the center diff too. I think it's the 2s version that doesn't.

So they just recently dropped the VXL Stampede earlier this year. Is this already a 2nd version? I grabbed one at the beginning of summer in blue and orange. And I can honestly say it’s one of my favorite RC cars in my collection to drive. I also have the 3s Arrma granite. My brother and I race them around together and have tons of fun.

Apparently, lower kv doesn't make more torque. It's a myth. It just creates less heat. Torque is mainly to do with the can size.

It's not myth. Lower kv motors are often larger cans. They create more torque, but less rpms. I don't want to come across as an arse. But what works, works 😉

@JasonPerrinRCVlogs Nah your not lol I watched a video on KZbin. They tested this theory. The result was 2 cans of same size made same torque with different kvs. But one produced less heat so it could take higher cell battery.

I wonder if the HD suspension parts help prevent the shock shafts from bending, because that was always the most annoying thing for me about the Slash/Stampede platforms.

Don’t have mt10 but I can tell you it’s more durable and more reliable than the granite

We’re lucky we’re still not running pin styled wheels anymore like us vintage guys I’ve got a Team associated Gold pan and a Team associated T3 so I gotta worry about losing those pens while I’m running it I’ve that about getting the new 4x4 eventually I’ll have one but still wanting the new Bl2s 2wd updated stamped with the clippers body and the LEDs they just look so much better now same with the stampede 4x4.

I like Traxxas cars but just don’t like their electronics. Usually when I get a Traxxas vehicle I snatch out the stock esc with and throw in a Hobbywing esc. I just don’t feel as connected with the stock traxxas esc’s
