The Summit is an all terrain beast...too bad Traxxas probably won't make a new version of it. They focus on the Maxx and X-Maxx.

Love yr defender on those custom wheels💙. Over 30mins of trx4/summit action👍💥 Can I run a single 3s lipo pack in the trx4? The summit seems like a great do-it-all truck.. will the battery trays take 3s lipos or just 2s? Thanks.

Thanks for watching, yeah you can single 3s lipo on the TRX-4. I have around 3300mAh 3s I can run it for about an hour in the trails and some rock crawling. The Summit is the best all terrain truck ever...forget the X-Maxx or Maxx. I just run two 2s for the Summit.

@flat-out but are they really comparable. I find the summit to look like a blunt instrument when compared to the scalpel of the TRX4. Can it go places the TRX4 can't? Sure...but I almost feel like it takes some of the technical side of crawling out of it.

​@@stevenszabo1306Yeah I know that's the way the Summit is it's a beast and my TRX-4 and Redcat Gen 8 Axe are more fun at the technical crawling stuff like what it's intended for. The Summit is kind of a swiss army knife it does a lot of the things ok just ok.
