is there any difference under the cover of this two ? both out of the box ? its only cosmetic difference in cover ?

The defender is a TRX4 324mm with 2 gears, the TRX Sport is 313mm and single gear

@@ginsrccrawler3117 Also the defender has lockable/unlockable diffs, the sport has the diffs permanently locked. And they come with different radio 2-channel TQ (sport) vs 5-channel TQi (defender).

And please and honest what’s funner and more capable? One speed trx4 sport or 2 speed defender. I’m debating the 2 and I love defender’s features but if truck gets same rating it’s cheaper and rather use for potential upgrades…

It depends on what you are looking for in the truck, if you want a realistic car having 2 gears is really fun, if you want a car to modify for climbing the trx sport is better because you start from an already much lighter base
