What will be the benefit of the rear shock being angled forward? Any disadvantage?

It is the same as the front shock being angled back. The more angle (in the same direction as the control arms) increases flex and reduces ride height. If this effect is too exaggerated, it will reduce side-hill stability.

My goal for doing this, is to lower the truck for better CoG, while still maintaining the same amount of flex, or perhaps even gaining some. You will notice I angled both the front and rear shocks inward more. Then, I tried various angles to change the ride height. When the key was angled up, I had basically lost all suspension travel, so moved them more downwards to increase the ride height. Does that help?

Idk man... This doesn't look too strong to me... You loose a shear point for the shock making it's connection much weaker as well as adding so much leverage by sticking it so far out from the shock tower that a fall or hard bump could bend it... Unless that screw holding the shock with it's now single shear point were to actually shear off... Idk. Maybe for you and the driving you do this works great. Hopefully it does. I just don't see it being stronger in any way...
