I like some of the new features on the Xmaxx like the body attach and the battery trays, but the Traxxas only Servo and aftermarket body possibilities worry me.....I was at OCRC a couple of years ago in the evening and a guy showed up with pretty much a stock e-Revo.....once he got on the track - every on went into the pits....funny! He was mowing everything......it was throttle.......thump, throttle.......thump!

Well guys... the X-MAXX is already broken. Broke the rear upper arm, rear diff outdrive cup, and a rear shock shaft in one fatal flip. Video coming soon!

My neighbors shed went on fire as well but he had a fire extinguisher near by and got it out without further damage! He is waiting for a new x-max now from traxxas but he will not use it! I saw one earlier up at the shop/track, yea its pretty big lol. I'd be a tough choice between this and the Yeti XL though. I don't bash much these days, but that Yeti is eyeballing me every time I see it. One thing though man...keep an eye on your ESC wires on this, apparently some are loose from the manufacturer. And you might have seen the video on here, but so far...two have caught fire out of no where.

That's one thing that annoys me the most about the X-Maxx....no "tune-ability" out the box. Roll center? Most Traxxas buyers don't know what the heck that even is. At least, from my understanding, Traxxas will release option parts that allow one to tune this kit .......but it will cost you.
