That can't be answered without knowing the mAh rating but 3s will always be faster unless you gear the 2s a lot faster

Try putting castle xlx in it with 8s and that gearing and you'll have one of the fastest X maxxes out there

almost took you out a couple times lol. I can tell you from experience... getting hit by the x-maxx at full speed HURTS ALOT!! LOL! I recently took my X-maxx with paddle tires to the pond and Hydroplaned across it! "125ft" It was Awesome! X-Maxx for the Win! I put the video on my channel if you feel like checking it out... yeah same here. between this or the savage flux. I've had an e-maxx and a nitro savage and I can honestly say the savage seemed to hold up better in crashes. seems like the plastic gives more instead of breaking.

Straightjacket007 I'm a new guy myself. I just bought a traxxas slash 2wd brushed and I love it. Got the truck and a nice charger for around 350. I couldn't ask for a better basher truck to start out with.
